Response from Rothgery and Sons LLC
[Member name removed], Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your honest feedback. Please accept my sincere apology for the lack of correspondence regarding your proposed landscaping job. The job which you inquired about was not only too late in our season to accommodate, but also too far out of our service area, and too small a job to transport machinery to. As my memory serves, we never set a hard date for a meeting appointment. If we had, there would be a missed appointment on my iPhone. (ALL appointments made are tracked electronically) I also never received a follow-up call from you, asking for the quote. This leads a business owner to believe that you have found someone else to handle your job. Again, I apologize for the lack of communication on my part. The inquiry that you made to us was about delivering one load of topsoil to your house. We neither produce, stock, nor personally deliver topsoil. We simply facilitate the purchase and delivery of topsoil to our own landscaping jobs. I only wish you had taken the time to CALL us rather than take the time to give us our FIRST and ONLY negative review on Angie's List. The review that you gave indicates that we have been hired by you and did not meet your expectations. This is not fair in my opinion as we were never hired by you or even set a meeting time. We were very busy this season and it can be difficult to keep up with everyone. Once again, I apologize for not returning your phone call. Please, next time you are considering tarnishing a company's stellar reputation, try calling first. Rothgery & Sons is a top rated provider for our area because we take pride in our relationships with our clients. Our reputation is very important to us. I hope you were able to get your yard finished, and that you have a great winter season here in the high country. Best Regards, -Dave Rothgery, Owner Rothgery & Sons LLC
