They are really good. I'd give them all "A's" down the line.

We could not be more dissatisfied! We engaged Toledo Glass to supply and install a new European style glass steam shower door with two side panels and associated hardware. They did so in the latter part of 2015. Unfortunately, the installation is extremely poor and the owner, Todd, has flat out refused to fix the problem. To make this even more painful, we paid $2,279.11 for the poor job and aggravation that we got. The problem is that there is a ¼” gap between the door and the side panel that abuts to where the door opens and closes. The gap is caused by a 3/8” bow in the glass door and a 1/8” bow in the adjacent side panel. This is an especially troubling situation because it is a steam shower which means the steam escapes through the ¼” gap! When I spoke to Todd about the problem: - Todd assured me that Toledo glass stands behind their work for at least one year and that we are well within the one year - Todd made clear that he does not believe that we in any way caused the gap - Todd Insisted that the installation they did is excellent and that they would be proud to do the same level of work for all of their customers and that there is nothing to fix Subsequent to my recent talk with Todd, I learned that the glass supplier that Toledo Glass uses has specifications for their glass that state that there may be a bow of up to ¼”in the glass they supply. Thus, Todd’s argument is that our shower is perfectly fine because the glass supplier he has chosen sells sheets of glass with bows in them of up to ¼”. Of course, there are a few problems with this reasoning. First, a ¼” gap is not okay with us. It is a steam shower! Second, Toledo glass never disclosed to us or anyone involved with the new shower work that their installation could have a ¼” gap in the door closure. If they had, we would have used a company other than Toledo glass for the work. Third, the fact that a supplier has a particular standard does not mean it is okay. What if the supplier had a ½” or ¾” tolerance instead of a ¼” tolerance? Would that mean that such a tolerance is automatically okay? Of course not. It would mean that Toledo Glass should use a different supplier, or at a minimum, tell their customers what to expect. Needless to say, we will never use Toledo Glass again.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE....AVOID!!!! We have been trying to get our materials or money for over 2 years. After putting money down for the project, we cancelled the service and asked to pick up our material for another company to complete the work. The money down was for material and they "didn't have the material anymore"....maybe resold it?? There was also another charge for $400 on our credit card from them that was unauthorized. When I tried to call the Lafayette location (Ed Jr) wouldn't talk with me from Day 1 and never once returned my calls. Ed Sr stepped in after numerous calls and after a poor BBB review. He has yelled at me over the phone when I ask for an explanation and has stood me up to meet 4 times. I have all paperwork and will be seeking legal. I write this review to help others avoid a similar situation from a corrupt father/son business. Give your business to someone who cares and isn't fraudulent. (The glass doors in our master and guest shower were reorder 3 times and a stain was left on my carpet as well....AVOID)

. When I picked them up, there was a note on the screens that the channels were too narrow to use wire screening so they used fabric screening. I had already paid at drop-off. I asked about a partial refund and was told the price was the same for both. I asked why I had not been called when it was discovered the wire fabric would not work - no explanation. So I was rather mad. I could have done the regular fabric screening myself. I had taken it to Toledo to get an expert job with the wire. I asked for the owner, he was out on an estimate. No offer was made to even try to contact him. A newer business I picked up there had an email address so I sent a note about this to Ed about a week later. He answered quickly and left me a voicemail message to call him. On the phone he offered to do them self. He suggested I drop them off at their Lafayette store, which was closer, and could pick them back up there. About a week later they were ready. They were done perfectly, and I was pleased with the final results. I highly recommend Toledo and their work, but you may need to get the owner involved sometimes. He honors what they promised.
Description of Work: A few years ago the good people at McGuckin hardware in Boulder referred me to Toledo Glass in Boulder for window screen repair. I have taken several screens there since with good results. This time I needed to repair the screens in my truck topper that the dogs knocked out while riding in the bed. I specifically asked for metal wire screening when I dropped them off, and I was told it could be done.
