Stephan's Renovations

Our family home sustained significant damage after a sewer back up which left the bathroom, two bedrooms, and a hallway in need of partial gutting and major cleanup. After the initial cleanup was complete, what remained was the replacement of walls, flooring, bathroom fixtures and final paint job. I used Stephan for all the renovations, and also to install ceramic floor tiles as an upgrade to the existing floors. As the home was rented (and I lived out of state), I needed to find a reliable contractor/handyman with whom I could work long-distance. After several failures and disappointments, I joined Angie's List and found Stephan Bennett. What a blessing! Stephan is a warm, courteous, and professional worker. He is honest and competent, and kept in touch with me every step of the way. Communication with him is easy and precise, and he has a way of simplifying resolutions without sacrificing quality or aesthetics. We purchased a home in January. The hoe had been built in 1965 and had been vacant for about 18 months prior to our purchase. We had some plans for some very basic updates to the house, but as we dug in and started work, we found that many, many issues existed. Stephan was able to handle all of the inconsistencies without issues, and worked quickly, and efficiently to demo, revise, update and finish our project. We are incredibly happy with his work, and continue to use him for some basic needs around the house.

Stephan Bennett was an incredible contractor that completed our condo remodel under budget and before the quoted completion date. His attention to detail and expertise was refreshing! He is truly a perfectionist, and can be tasked with anything. His finishing work was impeccable. We have been through numerous remodels with our homes, and this was the best work that I have ever seen.
