Power Rooter

Sewer line (to city sewer) plugged and backed up into our basement bathroom. We discovered on a Thurs afternoon, and tech arrived by 4pm. Worked for an hour or so, and we discovered that they needed a longer rooter to reach the city sewer (just over 110 feet). Because it was a 6pm, no other tech on duty to bring a longer rooter. So they came back the next morning, and quickly got the line cleaned out. At that time we also discovered the toilet was backed up, and needed to eventually be pulled anyway due to sewer backup. So they pulled the toilet and cleaned that drain, too. Quality service, but a "B" on responsiveness because we had to wait another day for another tech. Price only a "C" because it was a little high (even after some discounts)

He did a very good job. He gave us a photograph image of where the blockage was and what it entailed. He took care of the problem. He was very reasonable and professional.

We were told that we had a broken pipe and that they would need $2000 to find and fix the problem. They did not do a video inspection, and said they would not do it until after the pipe was fixed. We had another company first give an estimate ($1350), and then they did a video inspection and found no problem with the pipe, only a clog not previously found by Power Rooter.

They were very diligent to find the source of the problem with minimal damage to the wall where the punture was located. All of our options were thoroughly discussed and we were encouraged to try to less expensive option. We got service the same day we called and they even scheduled us after 6:00 with no additional charge so we did not have to miss work. They were very prompt and professional.
