We called Angie’s List and got somebody to come out. It was Planet Plumbing. This problem happened at 8:00 at night and we couldn’t find anybody to come out with all the water in the basement and everything. So, we called them and they came out. At night time, they had somebody come out and take care of it. It was just a matter of getting some kind of little switch or something that had been going on for a long time and we didn’t realize. Price – They’re good, they’re not cheap or anything, but they do such a great job. Price rating - I don’t know, but we wouldn’t be having them if they were way out of site. Very good, excellent quality. We have top of the line things in this house and they can accommodate that. Responsiveness was great, like I said they came out, we were able to shut the water off. They were able to fix it that night. It was wonderful. They were very good, they were very professional.

I thought it was because I had put something down there, you know how you do sometimes. No, that wasn’t what it was. It was a line, because we’ve been in this house for 30 years and we do live on the side of a hill. Some goo accumulates inside the kitchen pipe, so they put one of those rotary things down there and got rid of all that stuff. They fixed it and it’s fine now. Everything was great. I called them, they said they would come. They came when they said, they were on time, they fixed it. They had everything in the truck that they could fix it with and they were really great.

I was impressed. They came pretty quickly. He was efficient and thoughtful. They do what has to be done.

Phoned them up and they were around within the hour. Fixed the broken pipe and also stopped a drip from another faucet while they were here. They have a flat fee for fixing broken pipes like mine so you can ask about the cost up-front, but the second one he was able to fix without replacing it and only charged me for his time (which was minimal) so felt like I got a bargain there.Very timely and happy with their work - I would absolutely use them again!Was the cost reasonable... honestly I've no idea what a typical plumber costs to compare it with (this is my first frozen broken pipe, and hopefully my last). But I did not object to the price charged, as such I've given an A for costs. As I said, would absolutely use them again and have recommended them to friends already.

Fantastic, thorough, friendly service, both on the phone and in person -- we had to demo and restore a shower and bathroom before moving into a home we just purchased, and our tech, Patrick, took care of many various plumbing needs after the remodel. He gave great advice about raising a shower head, and also about installing a support stud before setting up our pedestal sink. Good value for the money spent, with great communication – including calling when en route to appointment and explaining the work that needed to be done. Would definitely use again, highly recommend.

They did an excellent job. They were right on time, the price was fair, and I would recommend them! The installation went well and there have been no issues since!

He came, investigated and explained in detail everything that was happening. He worked two full days to solve the problem in record breaking temperatures. He was professional, thorough and completely cleaned up the whole area.

This is in a rental house so I wasn't there but managed the job over the phone. The shower valve would not seal and even when fully closed quite a stream of water was coming through. I called Planet and they said they had a guy in the area and could have him there in about 1/2 hour. The diagnosis is free but the minimum repair charge is $150 for the first hour plus parts.In any case he showed up promptly and got to work on the problem and diagnosed it as having a completely worn washer on the cold side. Both valves were very old so he completely rebuilt the hot and cold sides, which took about an hour. Plus I asked him to look at the bathtub switch upstairs and he replace the washer there.This is the third job I've used them on so obviously I've been happy in the past. They are always polite and professional and arrive on time. They definitely know plumbing and fix any problem so it probably won't need more attention for a long time.My take is this. They are not the cheapest guys out there but I think fairly priced and the quality of the work is worth it. If I need someone fast, they can get someone there. If you have a simple job that can be handled by a handyman I'd probably go that route but if you need plumbing know-how, or are in a hurry these guys are a good choice.

They were more than excellent. They exceeded all my expectations. They were great. We had a another plumber who kinda scratch his head and didn't know how to do the work we wanted him to do, even it was actually most plumbers thought was really simple and then Planet Plumbing. He just came and did the work. He knows exactly what he was doing and everything worked out great. He was prompt, reliable, friendly, funny, happy and very good.

Chris came over and used 2 channel locks, I.e., two slip-joint pliers. Since I wanted a new drain installed, he knew the screw threads could be ruined. So he held the screw with one plier while he cranked on the screw with the other set until out it came! He was fast. Then he installed the new drain pretty quickly.

There hasn't been a problem since. This was a really tough job. I had tried cleaning it myself without success. Planet Plumbing was very responsive, especially for the Tuesday before Thanksgiving. It took over an hour of hard work to clear the grease core, but this pro had a few tricks that worked perfectly. Planet Plumbing gets my business from now on.

Could not have asked for better and faster service.

They were on time and quickly identified that it wasn't a burst pipe -- it was a pin-p**** hole in the water feed from a nail in the baseboard. For whatever reason, the recent cold weather got things moving enough that the leak, which apparently had been dripping for years, suddenly accelerated. It's all patched, no leaks and the baseboard and associated areas are now drying out. Prompt service, I would use them again.

Planet plumbing is honestly just the best. Super honest guys that I feel really comfortable with in my home. They are a wealth of knowledge. Plumbing stuff is never cheap, but I never feel like I'm being led on or given half a** service with Planet Plumbing. We really won't call anyone else now.

Had a pipe burst late Monday night. Luckily found it before it soaked everything & shut off water main. Called Planet Plumbing in the morning based on great online reviews. Although we weren't in an emergency situation we certainly wanted water back on in the house asap. PP sent Roy out and he was at our house in about an hour. He was professional & QUICK - just found the leak, made the area ready to remove the drywall necessary & repaired the pipe using a new sweat-soldered section. The damage was caused by prior installation of the copper riding up against a drain line galvanized strap. Roy moved the pipe off of the strap so this wouldn't happen again. For the call-out and time spent & felt the price was fair - especially given the quick show-time. Based on this experience I consider Planet Plumbing to be a no-nonsense quality outfit - I will definitely contact them in the future if I need plumbing service & recommend them to others in the Boulder area.

Everything was great. The person who answers the phone for scheduling is friendly and is happy to accommodate customer's schedules. When the window on our availability expired on the day that the work estimate was performed, I was able to reschedule the appointment to the next convenient date and time for me without any problems. The plumber (Roy) was professional and friendly throughout his time with us. As mentioned above, he added the shutoff valve to help prevent future incidences of freezing on the outdoor hose bib. The work area was left clean. It was one of my top service provider experiences, all went smoothly and for a great price. I highly recommend Planet Plumbing.

Great. Smooth, efficient, and affordable.

It was a really great experience. I was hoping to get the job done as quickly as possible, because I didn't want my renter to be out of hot water any longer than he was, plus we had to move the dryer out of the closet and into the kitchen to make room for the work to be done. I called Planet Plumbing at 9:30 (while waiting to hear back from another company I had called at 7:00). They said they could come out to inspect and give a quote between noon and 2:00. Sean was able to come out at 11:30, assessed the situation, and had a quote to me within 10 minutes. He called in to make sure he could do the work today, started draining the old water heater, and left to get his supplies. By 2:00, he was completely finished. When I came over to inspect and to pay him, he had also moved the washer and dryer back into place (and hooked them both up), and my tenant already had a load of laundry going! I didn't expect that at all. Thought I was going to have to call my friend over in the evening to help me put the washer and dryer back. Instead, everything was completely done and I could go on with my day. And so could my tenant. I would definitely use them again, but I'm hoping it would be in a situation that isn't as time sensitive. I would have liked to compare quotes, because we ended up spending $700 more than we would have with another company (that we have also used and like). The timing just worked out in Planet's favor. But the level of service was superb and turned around what had started as a pretty crappy day. Thanks Sean!

Planet was friendly, professional and quick - I was thrilled with their work and would recommend them to anyone. In the middle of the summer, I had another issue - an apparent leak in the front lawn - I thought perhaps the incoming water line had a problem, and called the water utility - they checked it out, and thought it was a problem and that I would need to call one of the companies that specialize in tearing your yard apart to fix. Then I called Planet - Steve suggested another way for me to check to see if this was incoming line or my sprinkler system - I did, and discovered it was the sprinkler valve that apparently was leaking - that's a TINY fix rather than a multi-thousand dollar fix. Way to go Steve and Planet Plumbing!

It was great. The other 3 plumbers who visited me recommended a $10,000 or more main line replacement. Planet Plumbing looked at older video of the line and said that, based on that, they did not see the need for the very expensive fix. They recommended rooter-ing it, then put a camera down to confirm that the problem had not gotten worse. The cost was $525, they cleaned up pretty well, replaced the washer and dryer, and were gone.
