Painting Plus

Came one day to powerwash and acid clean and they put tarp on the glass to make sure they did not damage it. The next day they came and coated the garage floor. Looks great and no issues.

Weather delays caused a bit of frustration on my part - obviously this was beyond their control - but the communication regarding specific dates could have been a little better. Once the work began, the painters were punctual, thorough, very friendly and left no mess. I got exactly what I paid for.

They were efficient & cleaned up after themselves

Painting Plus Of Boulder did everything they said they were going to do and, the work they did was perfect.

We were very happy with the service and responsiveness of the company. In the middle of the project, I added an additional trim color and the crew was happy to oblige. The owner, Derrick, gave me the original quote in a very timely fashion and commented that he would stop by occasionally to check on the project, but I never did see him....perhaps he came by while I wasn't around? However, we were very happy with the crew leader and the work they did, so it wasn't really an issue. They took very good care to clean up nicely afterwards and put everything back in its place.

A few ups and downs but quickly resolved by Derick. Amazing job so far, just a few touch ups here and there. Very very impressed!

The work crew was great. They were punctual and professional. They completed the work on time and no hidden charges. We would definitely recommend this company and/or use them again.

I was in a time crunch to get the house painted so I could complete the re-fi on the house. The guys at Painting Plus of Boulder came out the next day, and provided an easy to understand estimate. Once I decided on a color and there was a break in the weather, they got straight to work. ( Side note: it's great to research colors online, but I highly recommend trying the color on the house first! They don't always come out the same! That has nothing to do with the service, it is up to the homeowner to pick the color in this case.) 2 days for prep, 2 days for paint and the house was done. My only small issue is they could have cleaned up a little more thoroughly once completed. Nothing major, just some tape and scratch pads left in the back yard. Other than that small thing, everything was all good.

On the whole we were very pleased with the work. Derek was very responsive and available by phone, which is a huge plus for contractors in our experience. Our only issue is that because our work got pushed back on his schedule into the colder months, some of the paint on our garage door has chipped away at the top, so we'll be calling Derek and team to come fix this once the weather warms up. Otherwise we were pleased with the work and overall experience.

They were very professional and clean. There were no surprise charges, or surprises in their work. I thought their pricing was reasonable, and the quality of work excellent. We took several estimates from different companies. I felt what set this company apart was their detailed proposals. They explained everything in their proposal and did as stated in their proposals. Very thorough!

Used Angie's list for the first time and Painting Plus was my first contact. Milo, foreman and estimator, came out the next day and looked the job over. Two days later had a detailed bid that seemed reasonable. Looked for two more bids but was only able to get one more that was almost $2000 higher. Set a date to start with Painting Plus and they started on time and finished on time, with results that pleased myself and my son. Own a couple of conds and will use them in the future to keep these up. Very satisfied with Milo and his painters, Vince and Jordan.

This was an excellent experience! These guys performed an excellent job on very short notice. Furthermore, they gave me an incredible deal for the amount of work involved. The job ended up being twice as big as I had estimated it would be to them (due to additional rooms and walls needing painting), and yet they squeezed the additional work into their already very busy schedule to appease me and make sure the whole job was completed promptly. I'm very impressed and I will definitely use them again.

We have a house that is 18 years old and badly in need of not only painting but caulking, sanding and other preparatory work. It is also a house that has over 30 windows in it. Brick makes up 2/3 of the house. They took 5 days to complete the work with 2 hardworking individuals doing all the prep work and painting,

The owner was very professional to work with from the time he provided the initial estimate to the completion of the work. The team was courteous and paid great attention to detail. Our home and garage were a definite challenge due to the height and angles of the roof lines. They finished the job within the scheduled time, did a great cleanup afterward and we were very pleased with the result.

Our house is 12 years old and this is the first time we have painted the exterior. We contacted Painting Plus of Boulder in April for an estimate, and they were very prompt coming out. The Derrick and Milo did the estimate using Kwal paint, and I initially excluded the play set from being stained. Their estimate came in the lowest of the three contractors we talked to. After a week I asked them to redo the estimate using Sherwin-Williams paint, which I considered to be better quality than Kwal. The estimate rose a bit but till came in lower than the competition. We faxed in the contract and they scheduled us to start painting on May 21, with power washing scheduled for May 18. My wife spent many hours coming up with the exact color combination using samples from the local Sherwin-Williams store. We submitted our final choices to the HOA about a week before the painting was to start. Milo said they needed the colors the day before they started prepping the house. I did not hear anything from them for a few weeks, so I finally emailed Milo again to find out if the schedule was the same. He said that they were slipping a bit due to the recent rain and would start on May 23. We tried calling and asking Milo about whether everything had to be moved off the porch and patio before the washing, but did not get a clear answer. The power-washing slipped by a day to May 19. We took off many things that had been attached to the house over the years, along with furniture and plants. The power-washers came on the day they set and spent most of the afternoon washing the house. They left some spots of dirt where there had been things hanging on the house, but were very careful to not to spray windows. On May 23, I got verbal approval of the colors from the HOA and emailed Milo with the choices. He called me and said they were sending their best crew in the afternoon. They did come in the afternoon and started prepping the house, but it started raining so they had to quit that day. They were back the next day at 7am and started caulking. They removed some hooks in the siding that we had used for Christmas lights for no charge! They worked consistently from 7am to 5 pm to paint the exterior of the house. They moved plants and furniture from the porch that we thought we could leave there, which we really appreciated. They worked the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend and took the rest of the weekend off. The two man crew was very friendly and did not leave a mess anywhere on our property. There were no paint blotches on the concrete or windows. My wife even learned a little bit about maintaining our grapes from the leader of the crew! The house was done after 4 days, then they started working on the portico and fence. They moved more things off the patio to get a clear space. We cut back vegetation that was growing close to the fence, but they cut it back more when they could not get to area they wanted to stain. They were almost done when my wife asked them if they could stain the play structure and the furniture out back. Milo came out and estimated another $650 for the additional work, which we approved. They finished the rest of the staining in another day and we were quite pleased with the results. The overall cost was still below what others had wanted to charge us for the same work. Our neighbors has all been complimentary about the job that we did and we gave out a couple of referrals. We are very pleased with our experience with Painting Plus of Boulder!

Painting Plus had the lowest of 3 bids, by several hundred dollars, for our overdue exterior paint job. The bid came with a detailed, itemized proposal that spelled out specific repair/prep work, paint brand, etc. They were flexible on scheduling and responded promptly to all phone calls. Once we accepted their bid, they did exactly what they said they would do when they said they would do it. Rolando and his coworker, whose name I unfortunately didn't get, were amazingly efficient, systematic, neat, and thorough, and did a beautiful job. We are very pleased and would definitely use them again.

Painting plus provided a promt estimate that was lower than my other estimate and included a firm warranty. The estimate work description included special attention to a couple concern items I had raised during the estimation process. The work was done in 3 days. One day prep & prime, two days base paint and trim. Most of the painting was spray painting with hand brush work primarily on the priming day. A two-man crew did the painting and worked a full day each day. After the work was complete, I reviewed the work with the original estimator. We discussed a couple small issues and they were corrected within a day. The warranty quoted was 4 years with a touch up painting session to correct any warranty issues. I was happy with the overall experience and would use this vendor again.
