I was preparing my home for sale on a very short deadline. I hired another contractor to perform some renovations and they were not able to meet our deadlines to get the home ready prior to the listing date. I called Painting Plus of Boulder and they were able to send a full crew over to my home and take care of minor drywall repairs, interior wall painting and complete painting of unfinished solid wood doors throughout the home. I stopped by the home to check on progress and the full crew was still working after normal hours to assist us in meeting our listing deadline. The quality of the painting was exceptional and all deadlines were met. After I sold the home I received a call that there was a small problem with the paint on one door and with one call they were able to assist the new owner of the home and resolve the issue. They stand behind their work and do a great job, I recommend Painting Plus of Boulder to anyone needing a great trustworthy painting company.

Painting Plus of Boulder recently completed the interior painting of my entire house. It looks awesome and they were amazing. The workers were efficient, kind, honest and hard working. I changed the entire scope of the job at the last minute and they worked like crazy to accomodate us. Their prices were more than fair and I can't say enough good things about them. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing their house painted. We were lucky to have such wonderful people working for us.

The paints plus crew did a great job of taking care of us this summer. We are picky about details on our projects. Derreck and his crew were up to the challenge and delivered a great paint job at a reasonable price. We love the way to work turned-out and appreciate their efforts. We'll also be inviting them back for interior work later this year. Would recommend Paints Plus of Boulder to anyone and everyone.

VERY unhappy! They scratched many pieces of furniture, even chipping the veneers off two drawers on my china cabinet! They got paint on several pieces of furniture. When I called to complain, someone came out and said they couldn't have done that! They denied responsibility, and I asked why there was damage NOW when nothing had been wrong before! It was apparent that the furniture they moved to the center of the room fell on top of each other to cause the damage. Terrible customer service!!

Milo from Painting Plus showed up on time to review the property, and provided a bid to paint this residential house a day later. I needed painters who would work around the teaching schedule at this house (i.e., no work at the property for 3 days of each week), and Painting Plus agreed to do this with no qualms. Milo recommended a decorator to pick colors to match old-style yellow brick, and she provided trim and wall colors that were a huge improvement over previous colors. The painting work involved prep of the surface, re-glazing of many older-style windows, and high trim work around steeply sloped sections of roof. The results are great--very neat job, and good coverage (sprayed on with then rolled in to ensure coverage). I had to modify slightly the scope once the started, removing from an agreement to paint a fence, and Painting Plus accommodated this modification with no questions asked. Painting Plus was a little bit more than the second bid (~10%), but easily worth it given my need to work with a non-consecutive schedule and desire for quality work. Invoice was exactly as they had bid. They seems focused on doing very high quality work and keeping customers happy at a fair price. I used them 2 years ago to paint a house, and I'll use them again in the future next time I need a place painted.

He came and did some indoor painting for us on some new construction in our home--they did a fantastic job. Very friendly and professional, and the paint job was immaculate. We were very impressed and would definitely hire them again.

The builder wanted $1,200, Derrick did it for half that. We were able to strike the deal completely via email which I really appreciate - so much easier for me that way. I delayed the job for 5 months, and Derrick held his price for me. He scheduled me very promptly and even stopped by the day before to check out the job site. His two workers were friendly, respectful, covered everything completely, cleaned up wonderfully, dressed nicely and showed up in nice vans with Painting Plus logos. Derrick also showed up the day of the work to check on things. Derrick selected a great color for me and did a full primer coat as well. The quality appears outstanding. I am completely satisfied, and next I was thinking of epoxying my own garage and basement floors, but after seeing the quality and price performance of Derrick's work, not sure why I would do it myself!

I contacted Painting Plus after having signed a contract with another company (also favorably rated on Angie's List) who didn't timely respond to my inquiries and whose bid just seemed too low for the amount of work I thought was needed. The first company and I mutually agreed to end our contract and parted on good terms. Milo of Painting Plus came out looked at the house, asked pertinent questions and gave us a bid that was approximately $2,000 higher than the first company but was much more detailed in describing the scope of work they'd do and was several thousand less than what I had expected any painting bid to be given the condition of the exterior - I'd expected to hear that the siding was beyond salvation. Because of weather the job had to be rescheduled a couple of times and there was also a weather delay after the work got started (the work spanned from the middle of October until almost the end of November) but it got done before Thanksgiving. I was incredibly impressed by the work ethic and incredible amount of preparation (sanding, nailing, caulking....) work that was done before before any painting; on several days it was done in less than ideal conditions (windy and chilly) by a crew of from 2 to 6 and it took tens of hours. The crew worked like a finely tuned team and always thoroughly cleaned up at the end of each work day. In addition to the bid there was a per hour charge for carpentry work (replace broken, rotted or woodpecker damaged boards, etc.) plus the cost of materials - it ended up being about 20 hours. To me this was invaluable vs. me having to do the work (I couldn't have) or finding someone to do it. The crew leader was extremely adept at making all the needed repairs efficiently and economically in the use of materials and in a way that stayed ahead of the tasks the other workers were performing. The peak of the roof is 32' off the ground - this work was not for amateurs or anyone that isn't very competent working high up on ladders. I'd recommend Painting Plus without any hesitations.

The did a wonderful job. They clearly communicated their schedule and executed their work in a professional manor. Attention to detail and quality of work was excellent.

The painters were not planning to leave crisp, clean lines, as promised contractually. Some of the walls that had to be remedied afterwards when the paint bled through the (very cheap low quality) masking tape are now two toned. We had to tell them how to do the job correctly and professionally. They did not move furniture back into place or clean up thoroughly after themselves, as promised contractually. They left paint splatters in many locations. I keep finding them. There is lots of paint on the molding, too. Some of the walls that were supposedly primed and patched are horribly uneven and flawed. They charged me at a premium for two extra gallons of paint when the incorrect paint color was delivered. Admittedly, I provided the wrong number BUT the correct name. Upon a discussion about this, I was informed they do not crosscheck color names with numbers. I was instructed the job would require two days, a Thursday and Friday. However, the paint itself did not arrive until noon on Thursday, thereby pushing the job into most of the day Saturday, too.

Derrick and his crew were great. We were on vacation when the did the work and when we got back it looked great. The colors matched and only had one place that will need touched up on the house. We have some other work that needs done due to some storm damage from last year and plan to call Derrick to fix this as well. We will have him touch up the house where it was accidentally stained at that time. When we received the quote, Derrick provided a detailed listing of all the services he would perform and a copy of the liability insurance. That was more than we received from other quotes, which were only a price. He was very pleasant to talk to and was also responsive via email. We would recommend this company to anyone needing any kind of painting or staining.

Excellent communication and work. Completed on-time and with high quality. I was so impressed that i hired them to tape, texture, prime and paint my unfinished garage. This work was excellent too.

I had Painting Plus of Boulder come give an estimate for a repaint of the exterior of my home. Although I went with a different contractor based on scheduling (all other considerations were similar,) I came away with a very positive impression of Painter's Plus. Milo was the estimator and he put a very good face on the company as a whole. He was extremely professional, knowledgeable and friendly. The estimate they gave was competitive and I feel was a good value for the work to be done. I would have no hesitations hiring Painters Plus for any future projects (and may do so for some interior painting I need done in the near future.)

I got the guys over the Angie's List and they're still working and they're catching up a new construction. I would recommend them because of their professionalism and of their excellent work.

Painting Plus Of Boulder is really good, awesome, really good, high quality, very good customer service, great price. I would highly, highly recommend them. Get's your money's worth. This was a big job, apartment dwellings, so highly, highly recommend them. I would rate them 'A' plus, plus. Their price was very competitive. I would rate them 'A' in everything. I would absolutely use them again if need be.

Everything went well and I'm pleased with the quality of work. The workmen were polite and diligent. The work went quickly without incident. Overall I'm very pleased.

It was fine. The timing was good. I would recommend them.

From the estimate through the end of the process the painters were friendly, professional, and engaging.

We liked the employee (Milo?) who came to look at our house and what needed to be done, although once we waited a couple of days to hear back from the company after calling them (as we had to because of snow the day of the outside work). The actual painters who came to do the work were very skilled, professional, polite, and careful about the house. We were happy with the work done. The only negative was that we found that we did not have the white paint for the basement touch-ups, never realizing that the basement walls and trim had been painted with a different white than the upstairs. As we had a little time left over at the end of the day, we wished there had been a way that we knew about the missing paint earlier in the day so that we could have run out to try and get it. We were also quite satisfied with the outside painting the same painting company did for us a month before. In fact, the workers stayed beyond an 8-hr day to finish the job that day.

It went well. There was some delay getting the work started, but once it got going it went well and was completed in a timely manner.

From start to finish, Derrick and his crew did an excellent job. We received 4 bids for the interior painting job. Painting Plus was not the lowest bid, but certainly seemed fair given the amount of work. They paid attention to details, listened well and provided valuable input regarding color matching for the walls. I would certainly use them again.

It went very well. They were quick and they did good work. We were very happy with the service overall. They were very quick to make an appointment to come out and look at what we wanted done and once they did that, they responded with a quote within 24 hours. Once we accepted the quote and wanted to have them come paint, it was the peak end of their interior or exterior painting season so they were not able to give us a hard time to come and paint. It was more sort of like when the weather was bad and then they would not be able to paint outside, they could come and do our work but they were able to fit us in within a week and then it just took them a day to get everything painted completely. It was just a very quick and pleasant experience. They were all very polite and professional. I work from home but they did not bother me at all and they came to ask a couple of questions but otherwise, it was minimal. They did a good job with our furniture to make sure that no paint got on it and they protected everything and taped it all up. It was very professionally done. If we have more painting needs, they will definitely be the first people that we would call.

I originally talked with Derek in July and we scheduled the job to be the week of September 23rd. The weather would be cooler and that was when their schedule would open up and they would be available. I checked in to confirm on September 17th and they said they were already running a week behind, and now with the additional rain and flooding, they are even more behind so it will be the week of October 7th. On October 6th, Derrick emailed saying they are still running behind and it will not be the week of the 7th and he will let me know when they can fit us in. On October 18th, I emailed him checking on the schedule to just get a status. On October 21st he said they were hoping to pressure wash the house this week and get started the next week. The house was pressure washed on Friday, October 25th. Originally Derrick said it would take 2 days for general repairs on the house and then 3 days to paint. They did 1 day of repairs before they started to paint. There were two pieces of trim that had not been repaired and they painted it. I had asked Derrick about the paint color back in October and he assured me they could match it (which they did beautifully) However, the week they were painting was a crazy week at work for me and Derrick wanted me to approve paint color which was a little stressful to try and figure out how to get back home between meetings to make that work. Ultimately, my husband worked from home and took care of it. I was a little frustrated that I tried to get the paint color figured out ahead of time and was scrambling last minute to move meetings around to get back up to Boulder from Denver, so I can approve paint color. The painters that worked on the house were punctual, nice, and very hard workers. The lower scores for responsiveness and punctuality is more for the communication and scheduling part up front, not the actual job. Once it was started, it was great (other than the two trim things that weren't fixed before painting)

From my very first contact with Derick Packard, my experience was superior in all respects. He was knowledgeable about how to best treat our cedar siding, supporting our preference for staining rather than painting as many of the bidders had suggested. While staining was the costlier option, Derick's price still beat all the rest, and we got a lot of bids. His bid was clear, timely, quite competitive and reliable. Derick also helped us work with our insurance requirements, as this was a covered claim. He knew how to help us work through the process with our insurance. Once work began, the team was exceptionally courteous and professional and quite patient in applying numerous color samples until I was satisfied. That was the most difficult decision point for me as I had previously (many years earlier by a different company) had my house stained from a sample and then hated the color once an entire side was done. I explained my fear to Derick and he really listened to what I wanted and worked with the color until I liked it so it looked just the way I wanted it to from the beginning. The quality of the product, workmanship and final result is absolutely superior. I could not be more satisfied. I also felt comfortable with the two-man crew who did the work and Derick was available by phone or in person as needed. We recommend Painting Plus of Boulder whole-heartedly without any reservation and will most certainly use them again!
