I could not be more pleased with the price, quality, responsiveness and professionalism of Painting Plus of Boulder (PPB). PPB was flexible in scheduling the work, and the PPB work crew was prompt, did superb work, and thoroughly cleaned up my property after the job was done. PPB also worked closely with me to resolve a minor problem with the initial stain color for my wood deck, which I particularly appreciated. I recommend PPB without reservation. Tom Baldwin (owner) was great to work with - thanks again Tom.

They were great. They were very responsive. I contacted them via email and they contacted me immediately. They came out shortly after and had the estimate to me the next day. We havent had the work done yet.

Great! On time, professional, kept the site clean, no drips or splatters, no damage to outside furniture or landscaping, beautiful job.

To my surprise, they were not the highest bid. I met twice with Tom, the estimator and manager, before they started. The crew was very professional, clean and friendly. Tom checked in periodically and resolved an issue that came up mid-stream very quickly and fairly. I have not found anything needing touch ups or rework. No surprises at the end with the final bill. One of the best experiences I have had with anyone working on my house ....

I spent about $2600 for the job and it went very well. I would use their services in the future too.

I used to paint houses professionally but had to stop when old age caught up with me. I always said, "Nobody can paint my home as well as I can paint my own house." I was wrong; Painting Plus or Boulder can and did. I could not be happier with the quality of work that was performed and their bid was much lower than other estimates that I received. A very professional organization, I highly recommend them.

Tom Baldwin, the owner, was professional, personable and a pleasure to do business with. His staff was excellent and I thought his price was outstanding compared to what I paid to have my house in NJ painted. The final results are fabulous!

From Milo's prompt, detailed and reasonably priced bid to the care taken with preparation and cleanup, to the thorough work done by the painters, our experience with Painting Plus of Boulder was excellent. Mario and Miguel began promptly at the appointed start time each day and worked consistently and carefully, taking just a short lunch break. I appreciate their attention to detail and - as someone who works from home - was pleased that they worked quietly and neatly. The painters took great care with protecting (taping/draping/covering) areas not to be painted, and there were no drips, runs or painted shrubs when they were done. I was puzzled at one point because it seemed like they were applying only one coat of paint instead of the agreed-upon two coats, but it was explained that one guy uses a roller and the other a sprayer, following one another around the house. News to me, but it worked well and still looks great (we've had numerous compliments). Milo came daily to check on the quality and progress of their work. When the last day arrived and there seemed like too much remained to finish, Milo called in another painter to join the crew so the work could be completed on time. I highly recommend Painting Plus, and would gladly work with them again. They offer a 5-year warranty - including a "paint tune-up" - on their work, which is unusual in this area.

I am extremely pleased with the quality of Painting Plus' craftsmanship, precision, and professionalism. Their worker's are well-supervised and very responsive to customer's particular needs and suggestions. Since I work in my home, they readily accommodated my schedule so that their work wouldn't interfere with my professional responsibilities. They even put up new exterior light fixtures for me!

Estimate was smooth, and painting scheduled promptly. Painting crew was professional, completed the job promptly, and cleaned up when they were finished. We are very happy with the results.

We are painting our entire house and our stairwell is too tall for us to paint so we called Painting Pluss. They came out that same day to give us an estimate. They sent the estimate in an email and they came out the next day I was available. They were very professional, clean, quick, friendly and efficient. They charged me the same amount as the estimate. I would definitely recommend them!

PaintingPlus of Boulder was an excellent choice from start to finish. Their bid was under other bids but I don't believe anyone could improve on their work. They power washed the entire home before beginning work. Then they repaired and primed the home, concentrating on areas that were of great concern, mold, paint worn off, etc. The home looks beautiful. They took great care that they only painted on the days that would not be too cold. An unexpected rain storm had them backtrack a bit, which they did cheerfully. We never had to be concerned that it was a shoddy job or argue with the workers. They were very conscientious and polite. I can't say enough good about Tom and this company. They were a pleasure to work with and we will have them back to do the interior of our home as well. You can use this company without any hesitation.

We had a fantastic experience. We had to schedule around the weather due to late season house painting, but Painting Plus was very flexible and accommodating. They were able to match our existing colors quite well. We are very pleased.

Communication with Milo the manager was excellent. He followed through on his promises and ensured we were satisfied at every point. He was attentive, knowledgable and always on top of his job. He made us feel that nothing was too hard. Employees were polite and respectful and tidied up as they went so there was minimum disturbance. They used their initiative and provided solutions where needed. We look forward to working with them in the future.

Overall it went very well. We were a bit indecisive about the trim color, and changed our minds a couple times into the work. This ended up adding $500 to the labor bill, which I think is a bit high since I doubt it really added more than 10 hours to the job. I don't think they charged for more work than performed overall (I fully trust them on that), but I think some of the extra time was also from delays caused by high winds. Anyway, I think everything came out fair in the end. This is the only reason they didn't get an A on the price. Even with the $500 increase their bid was still very competitive.

Great! They showed up early, They worked fast and efficiently. A great resource if you need some painting done. We would recommend them strongly.

On day 1 of the job, a bunch of subs showed up and there was no supervision. This is where it all went wrong. Phase 1 was the exterior. They did a horrible job. Horrible. They painted the exterior, which they were not supposed to do, and they painted it an awful yellow. I was never asked what color I wanted the exterior painted - as it was not supposed to be painted! To make matters worse, they did a terrible, amateur job. I am STILL peeling off masking tape and paper from all over the house. There is overspray all over my brick, the caulking job looks like it was done by a class of kindergartners - squiggly and thick; most of my windows have been painted shut, there is paint spray all over the glass of my windows, and the paint that did make it on to the surface is now PEELING - and they were just here 3 weeks ago. There is primer showing on doors, windows, and walls where they never painted. And again, I was never asked what color to paint the exterior - they took it upon themselves to paint it a yellow that I would have never approved. Nor did they ask me what color to paint the rails or porch flooring - they painted the rails white and the flooring brown, which was fine; however, some communication would have been appreciated. Additionally, they were supposed to replace a few rotting boards on the front porch. The estimate clearly states that the wood work would "not exceed $350.00." I have this, in writing. The total charge for just this service? $622!!! I of course questioned him when I received the bill. He did apologize, which I appreciated; however, the charge remained at $622 for a service that was not supposed to exceed $350. The seller settled the bill and I did not move forward with the remaining portion of the services, given the poor quality, lack of communication, and my overall disappointment and dissatisfaction with Painting Plus. I did receive a call from Milo, apparently the other partner of the company, offering his apology. I did appreciate this greatly; however, I'm in an unfortunate position: the seller paid for their service, so I can not receive financial remuneration for their work. I do not want them working in my home again, so I can not receive repairs to the damage of my home (overspray, etc.). I am left with my hands in the air and my windows painted shut and now have to start over to undo the damage they did. An utter disappointment.

My experience with Painting Plus of Boulder was very positive. Initially, Milo Halperin came to our house three times?twice to meet with us and once again to provide us with sample colors (which he also painted on the house). Milo's estimate for the work was very reasonable and compared quite favorably to estimates from two other companies. After pressure washing took place on a Friday, work was scheduled to begin on Monday. Milo called and asked if work could begin on Tuesday, which was fine. Milo came out on Tuesday morning, accompanied by Edmundo and Fernando, who began working that morning and who both stayed on this job until Saturday. Edmundo and Fernando spent the first day and half doing extensive prep work, and then began painting. They continued painting, with ongoing, occasional prep/repair work, through late Friday afternoon. Mario joined them Thursday and worked with them through Friday. I was able to watch the work as it progressed and was impressed with the dedication and commitment to quality shown by Edmundo, Fernando and Mario. After the painting project was finished at about 4:00 p.m. on Friday, Edmundo invited me to walk with him around the entire house, to inspect their work and point out any missed spots. I did that and touch-up work was quickly performed. I was very impressed by the fact that Milo came out late Friday to independently follow up, after the crew had left. He went around the house from top to bottom and left bright green painter's tape on a number of spots that needed additional work (which I had not seen during my inspection). Edmundo, Fernando and another fellow came back on Saturday morning and took care of all of the spots pointed out by Milo. They also re-stained the lower deck, thereby completing the entire project by about 12 noon on Saturday. Since this job was finished, I have thoroughly examined the work that was done. It is first rate! Based upon this very satisfactory experience, I have no hesitancy whatsoever in recommending Painting Plus of Boulder.

I was very impressed by the professionalism of everyone I came in contact with, from the free estimate to the completion of the job. The attention to detail and the efficiency with which the painters worked was fantastic. They were able to get me in within a week of the estimate and the job took one full day. From the moment the painters arrived, they were on task. They took great care to protect my furniture and carpet. They also did a great job covering a ceiling crack that has bothered me for years. The lead contact person was there in the morning to explain details to the painters, available during the day if any help was needed, and then inspected the job at the end of the day. A few minor areas were attended to quickly and to my complete satisfaction. The cleanup was impeccable. I would definitely hire Paining Plus again and would recommend them without reservation.

The house had been painted 4 years ago by another local painter with a 3 year warranty on the work done. At the 3 year mark all the paint on the window sills and other areas of the trim were chipping and pealing. Some were nearly bare wood. We were very disappointed in the last paint job we'd paid top dollar for. We received a number of estimates from companies in what to do about this. As we are on a budget we decided to just paint the areas that needed attention and hold off on painting the whole house for another few years, if possible. Painting Plus was more than willing to do just the prep, priming and painting necessary to protect the home for another few years. They were very responsive (first one out to the house to provide a quote), professional, knowledgeable and just top notch in every way. The painters clearly cared about the quality of the work they were doing and took extra effort to be sure we understood what they were doing and were happy with the job. I have dealt with a number of home painters over the years, and they are the best, by far. The woodwork around the basement sliding door had dry rot. Painting Plus replaced the wood, caulked, primed and repainted the trim here as well. They did an excellent job. I generally have to "fix up" jobs like this when someone else does them--not in this case! Along the way we also had them touch-up some of the base color areas of the house that needed some attention. This was added to the estimate on a time/materials basis. The job they did here was also top-notch. The add-on cost was extremely reasonable for the work done. We had some paint left over from the last time the home was painted. However, as we were unhappy with how long the paint had lasted, we decided to upgrade the paint used for this touch-up job. Tom did an excellent job of matching the color to the original color used. Knowing the sills were a problem area, they also used an upgraded primer. The end result looks great! I will definitely be calling them the next time the whole home needs to be painted.

Tom called to set up an appointment, showed up as he said, made a written estimate immediately and when he said he would be here to do the job, he was. Perfect.

First class from start to finish. Work was done in a timely manner - clean up was 100% - and we were able to use their discount to purchase the paint.

Their estimator was very professional and knowledgeable. They did a great job on the house. Our only complaint was there was a miscommunication about whether we wanted our downspouts painted. We didn't and they painted them, which was something that couldn?t be undone. There was one gutter that they had primed before we caught the mistake and they did clean the primer off of that. They did spend some extra time to undo part of the mistake, but the other part they couldn't undo. We are living with that and it is not a big deal. Other than that they really seemed to take care with their work and they sought us out when they had questions about which color we wanted where and that sort of thing. We were very happy with it. Their estimate was about the same as another one we got.

We called the company on Wednesday to get an estimate for painting our guest bathroom. The owner came the next morning at the exact time he said he would arrive. Estimate was e-mailed later that morning and the bathroom was painted the next day (we obtained the paint). The room was totally taped and areas covered. The room looks great. It was such a good job that we have them coming back tomorrow to paint our guest bathroom.

We really liked this company. They gave us an estimate and stuck to the price. They were very detailed in terms of the work. They were easy to work with and very professional.
