Mr Pool

I can honestly say we gave this company many, many chances to preform with professionalism and quality service. They failed time after time. I have never seen a company so poorly run and with a lack of any organizational structure or communication. Time after time, communication broke down between the multiple departments which affected our service and cost us money and more importantly our time to fix. This company demonstrated major management issues, which lead to a constant change in reps that would come out to our home. With a pool and hot tub, you have little things that are specific to your own setup. These had to be revisited with each new rep that came out to ensure mistakes were not made and they were, continually. I'm finally at my wits end with this company and would highly recommend you beware if you choose to use them.

I'm very happy with their work. Our GFI unit was intermittently "turning off" the spa and it was a challenge to figure out the exact cause of the problem. Rather than just starting to replace random parts, the service rep instructed me on how to check individual components by unplugging the various parts of the system. Doing this, I found that the problem was the heater, so they replaced that particular part. Because the spa is so old they didn't have the part in stock, but they ordered it, and returned to replace it within a few days.

This pool project was installed around 2000, so maybe they have improved. However, the top reflecting pool isn't level, which is very noticeable since the water level slopes drastically with the top of the copping. Mr. Pool did higher out a person to frame the pool, but never came to oversee the framer. Also, the skimmer holes were completely to small for the size of the pond and I had to have another company come in and increase the size of the skimmer holes. I also had to come back and add another skimmer hole because there was a dead spot in the pond and leaves and debris were not getting to the one small skimmer that they had put in. I finally just got so frustrated that I've just abandened their original skimmer hole in the side of the pool. Also, The bottom grate over the pool has never stayed in place. I don't know if they forgot to put screws in the grate and pool bottom or it just stripped really quickly.

We have had Mr. Pool come out occasionally over the past 3 years. One time I was frustrated as one of the young men tried to sell me all sorts of new equipment, but that only happened once. This last time was a better experience and the communication was good in setting up the appt. The men were efficient and got the job done.

I was very pleased with the help I received getting parts to repair my aging hot tub. The people are very friendly and take the time necessary to understand the problem.
