Easy to get in touch with via phone initially and returned some emails after several days but some emails went unanswered. Was initially helpful despite being condescening but his estimate seemed fair and work was scheduled. He called to increase the price on the day of the scheduled work and when this was not agreed to he hung up the phone and did not perform my masonry project leaving me out in the cold. Found another mason (Luallin Masonry) who did the work quickly, expertly and for 20% less than the initial bid by L. Martinez. I would not recommend this person for your masonry project.

The Price was increased due to new information provided by the customer. An initial verbal quote over the phone is only as good as the information provided. The potential customer was very rude with me on the telephone, my words to him were, "I feel like you are being very rude to me and I don't understand why, I don't deserve to be treated like this and I don't work with people who are rude to me", that is when I ended the call. I do believe in quality customer service, I have countless satisfied customers, some have been kind enough to leave testimonials on my website www.LMPortfolio.webs.com. There is a point where I will draw the line when someone is disrespecting me or my employees if the situation should arise. As for my prices, they are a fantastic value for the level of craftsmanship and attention to detail that we provide, too often we are stuck fixing the low bidders work 6 months down the road when its cracking and falling apart for various reasons. This all being said, we are very sociable and easy to work with, our prices are reasonable for a quality install, I acknowledge that everyone has and is entitled to an opinion, and I do not have one paying customer that would agree with this individual. I used him six months ago and again last month and I would definitely use him again. He was polite, efficient, and responsive to what I asked. I found him on the web and he was the first one to answer my phone call.
Description of Work: I used Leroy Martinez Masonry to rebuild a stone wall and put up a stone mural. He also built two decorative walls out of sandstone.
