Klatt Moving & Storage

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! The move itself went reasonably well. The packers and moving team worked very hard, but I think the company is fundamentally dishonest. The are trying to charge me several hundred dollars more after the move because they either (a) are lousy at estimating or (b) are trying to cheat me. I told them I was going to submit their final invoice to the PUC, which regulates household movers and limits the amount they can charge above the estimate, and the guy said the PUC only regulates interstate moves...not true. So, again, you decide...(a) Don't know their business or (b) are hoping I don't know the regulations. In any case, there are A LOT of local movers in Boulder County so no point exposing yourself to this kind of business.

They moved both my boyfriend and I. Well, they really were great working through our schedule; they kept changing and all of that. It was pretty expensive for a move. I'm finding kitty food on my furniture, and I have no idea, I never had a cat. My stuff has been in storage since April. It's not just in my furniture it's in my boyfriend's furniture too, it's the weirdest thing. I probably will not use them again because we don't live in the area where they would be.

Dishonest and lacking integrity - that should be Klatt's motto. Thieves and damaged furniture can be their tagline. The movers are dishonest and put words in my mouth on multiple occasions. Further, they cannot keep track of who they move and I was confused with another move multiple times. The biggest thing is my skis. I love my skis and when the movers dropped off my stuff, I told them I only cared about the delivery of my skis. They did not have them and proceeded to tell management that I didn't seem to care about my skis. I am in the ski industry, those skis and bindings are my livelihood and that was taken away. I have multiple witnesses to attest that the movers took my skis but Klatt still denies it. 0 complaint resolution. I will follow up with the Better Business Bureau and the Boulder police. This is an outrage!!!!!

They were wonderful. I actually got their names and then also found them on Angie's List. They were just fantastic. It was a local mover. They did a great job and they came in under estimate. It was $600 and the original estimate was $800. They were great. The estimator was very honest and really easy to talk to. You didn't feel like he was trying to sell you on anything. He came in, gave me a good estimate. They called the day before, they checked in with us. The workers worked hard. They were careful. They wrapped everything. They were pleasant. It was a good experience. I would definitely use them again. I've been warned that their pricing was well within everybody else. The woman from the property management had recently used them herself and she said she had called two or three people and they were a good bid and she felt really comfortable with them. And then they came in under bid, which was great. So I didn't do any other bidding, because I thought that was enough for me. And I looked them up on Angie's List and they were great. They had a really good rating. I think their pricing was well within what the going rate is. And they didn't make any extraordinary kinds of promises; we can do better than anybody else kind of thing. The estimator was someone who really seemed like he was talking about. He took a good, thorough listing of any concerns, of any particular pieces or anything else that we needed to do. I think they were great and their pricing is very good. They came out right away for the estimate. They called the day before to confirm. I think they were a teeny little bit late in the morning, but they called and said we are leaving now. So they kept me informed.

They were right on time, provided a big crew for a big job. All of the crew was very professional, friendly, careful with our belongings, and worked really hard - the whole time. They wrapped our furniture and figured out what to do with the over-sized items. they packed a few things the morning they moved us and they charged what they estimated. They also inventoried everything and left nothing behind. The sales person I worked with used to be a mover and his experience helped us as we set up the move. I had never done a move this big and was not sure how to accomplish it. He came to the house 3times to provide a quote, answer questions and check on the move as it was in progress. would definitely use them again and will later this month as they move our things from storage to our final destination. I can't comment on the use of their storage or condition of my belongings after being there since we don't have them yet but I will be shocked if there are any problems.

Showed up on time, were friendly, worked hard, took care of materials, and cleaned up after themselves. We had 2 movers at our apartment and 3 at the storage unit. The apartment movers arrived at 8:30 am and were finished by 11:30. The cost was 100/hr. The storage unit movers arrived at 8:30 am and were finished by 12:30. The cost was 120/hr. We used Klatt back in August and they were just as good this time around.

Estimated a 5 hour move time, completed it in 3 hours and 15 minutes. Took great care of our furniture. Plan to use them again for an upcoming move.

Chris came and gave an estimate, had men come in time for the closing of the old house. The men wrapped and moved furniture from all over the house and yard, moved boxes and took them all to storage to wait for the closing on the new house. Price included up to 30 days of storage. After closing, the Klatt moving men, brought all of the furniture and boxes into the new house and distributed them per our original plan. This was managed with several date changes due to closing date changes on both the old and new homes. Chris never complained and was ready to go on any date that was mentioned. Move was well within his estimate and charged me only the time used which was somewhat less than estimated. All furniture was in great shape, there was no damage and the one item that was misplaced was delivered to the new the very next day. Pleasant and easy to work with, respectful movers and fully equipped team that offered me extra boxes when I ran out.
