Juan's Affordable Tree Care

Description of Work: We live in a mountain neighborhood. We had a very large pine tree blown down in a windstorm yesterday and it was obstructing the shared dirt road in our neighborhood. I called Juan and he was there within an hour. He had to go back for a larger truck, but was back in half an hour. He and his crew cut up the tree and hauled it away very quickly. Headache averted. We were very pleased with the work and with the response time. Would definitely call him again.

Description of Work: Needed several trees trimmed in our front yard and back yard. They were mature trees (about 35 years old) and had a lot of dead branches and out-of-control growth. We had some ideas on what we wanted trimmed, but were looking for trimming professionals to help us with their judgement.

Description of Work: Trimmed two large ash trees, removed dozens of nuisance alanthis tree "upstarts", cleanup and haul away.

Description of Work: Removed a couple trees, stump grinding, and did extensive trimming on two other trees and minor trimming on a third.

Description of Work: Trimmed 3 trees, cleaned up/pruned several larger bushes, and cleaned a problematic gutter that was too high for me to reach with a ladder. All debris was removed afterwards.

Description of Work: They provided an in-person estimate and trimmed two mature trees. At no additional fee, Juan also removed a volunteer bush that I didn't want.

Description of Work: Juan's Affordable Tree Care made and estimate and did the work within a couple days. I was unable to do the time originally agreed upon and they moved everything up and got the work done rapidly. I used them because 2 of my neighbors were pleased with their work . My direct next door neighbor had 1 tree entirely taken down and several more pruned. ALSO, that neighbor said their prices were actually really good. Juan's ATC showed up around ten and got right to work. They explained why they were cutting which branches. It made a lot of sense for the health of the tree. It's a 30 or 40 year old maple, quite large, and I'm anxious for it to live as long as possible. Juan and Donna have had the business for 6 years. Prior to that he worked for several years for another tree care person, and prior to that he was responsible for taking care of an entire orchard. When they were done the tree looked quite nice. They took the dead branches of course but also large old branches with little vegetation. They also took branches that were interfering with other branches. I think they also took branches to keep the tree balanced. I'm pleased with how it looks, feel like $220 is a bargain compared to the super high prices with other tree companies. I've been here 13 years and have had this and other trees pruned a few times and one removed. After they were done they picked up everything, even 3" twigs. Then they took everything to Western's yard waste area.
