Handyman Matters of Boulder And Fort Collins

We are new to Boulder and looked on Angie's List to help us with some repairs on a 1930's home that we just bought. The operator was always polite and went out of her way to help us get the work done within our schedule. Jesse of Handyman Matters of Boulder was sent to help us and he was AMAZING. He listened carefully to our priority list before looking over what needed to be done. He took care to salvage by repairing when possible any of the original keyholes, doors, knobs,etc of our home. He was very knowledgeable and gave me choices and options for the repairs. His work was exact and he kept the work area clean. My kids were helping me that day by putting up smoke detectors. When they had trouble installing one of the detectors, Jesse was kind enough to stop what he was doing and come help them. Once he finished everything on our list, he had some extra time ( we bought the full day package) so he leveled and reset an exterior door that we hadn't even noticed needed to be worked on! Kudos's for Jesse and Handyman Matters of Boulder!

He was incredibly neat and basically sealed up the area. Although it was a small job he gave it the same care as if it was going to take him all day. He matched the color really well. You can’t see where it is at all.

It was a very positive experience. The person that they assigned was very prompt, he did excellent work and it was very good overall. We really appreciated the service, it was done in a timely manner and they did everything they said they would do. They immediately accepted my Angie’s List coupon over the phone, so there was no contention or anything with that and the payment was quick and easy.

I told him what I needed. The guy called me and said he was coming an hour later as he had a dental appointment. He was efficient. He did a good job. He did the work quickly. He came on time. I still need to have the chandelier fixed.

Their estimate was outrageous.

This was a ceiling drywall repair and patch and it ended up not looking as good once it was painted, as I had hoped. But the service was prompt, professional and efficient.

They responded quickly to my phone call, were able to get somebody out to my house within a week, and that person was great. I've been able to have the same person back for all of my other household repair needs since that time, so now he knows my house and I can just ask him to come over. The owner was very nice and responsive and, I think, talked to me at least twice on the phone trying to work out what my needs were.

Despite missing one of his emails, Rob was extremely accommodating in helping me out on short notice. One of his workers, Aaron, arrived on time during our hectic move and got all the work done within the timeframe we needed, even though he had to wait for movers to wrap the furniture. He left the window better than it was when we had it removed and two hours later you wouldn't have even known the window had been completely removed. It was great to save a $1200 couch that was in great condition.

Repaired some ceiling water damage to drywall in Basement. Nice folks and did a good job.

This company is absolutely the best! I bought an over the tub-shower door because i really liked how it looked. I knew it looked hard to install, and after i saw the directions..i was right. Jumped on Angie's list, contacted Handyman Matters of Boulder and another service and from the first Email from Jo, the Office Manager, i knew i'd picked the right people to install this. First Rob and i talked and i sent him the information of which shower door i picked out..we went over a few things and then Fred was out within a couple days and installed it perfectly! Fred was exactly on time, started to work immediately and overall, i'm very impressed and will have them do other things i need done! Thank You!

Dan arrived on time, was professional and courteous and finished the job under the time estimated for completion and at a lower cost. Very satisfied!

The handyman arrived promptly when expected. He had a very clean-cut, professional appearance and brought a very large tool box that looked like it included everything that he could possibly need for any job. He fixed the items requested very quickly and did a very good job. He also took time to look around the kitchen to see if anything else might need adjusting. He then asked if there was anything else he could do while he was there. I requested that he fix a latch on an interior door, which again he did quickly and very well.

Excellent in all respects. Pricy, but I knew that going in. Very professional, friendly, prompt technician.

The work they did was good. They had forgotten about us originally, they were on vacation. There was a scheduling conflict. Other than that, they were helpful and did a good job.

I got their name from Angie?s List. They fixed the mail box at what I considered to be a reasonable fee for the complexity of the job. It turned out that the broken post had to replaced. They came several times to do that and the total cost was $250. It was a complicated situation. We have a mail box that looks like it is stone pillar, although it is made out of plastic. There is a little floor to the usual mail box where we can take out, so we can accumulate a lot of mail. It is the reason why we got that mail box, but there is a key lock door to the lower thing and we couldn?t provide the key. He still managed. He reached down inside and unbolted. I was very satisfied with what they did, especially their willingness to do it when we were not on the scene.

Overall, I am very pleased. Superfast appointments - I called on Friday, and they scheduled me for the following Monday. Chad, the handyman, also called the night before, which was very nice, as he was able to get all the materials he needed beforehand. He was right on time and got to work quickly. I had two small holes in my wall from moving a box spring up the stairs. Chad fixed them up in just over an hour, and I couldn't even see where the holes had been before. And he noticed that one of my outlet plates was loose, so he tightened it up while he was there, no charge. He was fast, conscientious, and very tidy--he even took his shoes off before he came in! I will definitely be calling them again for more things around my house.
