+ -1 moreVery fast. The proposal and selection of the shingles went smoothly. The work crew was on schedule, worked hard, and completed the job faster than I would have expected, with almost no damage to existing landscaping. The Project Supervisor even came back after I had paid to complete a little caulking and painting touch-up. I have a couple of little nitpicks about appearance and clean-up, but nothing that would justify changing the overall "A" rating.

+ -1 moreThis company came highly recommended. I phoned and left a message regarding an appointment for quoting repairs. Appointment was made. Scheduled to come out 7/22/15 at 11am. Didn't show. I finally called an hour later. They had rescheduled me for 7/28 at 1:30, without discussing with me. Well, 7/28 is here and they haven't shown. I called and she remembered me. She called the manager and called me back. Said he completely "spaced" and was doing something else. Seriously, 2 of my days wasted waiting on this company. Not what I would expect from a company that was highly recommended. Completely unprofessional! Needless to say, I didn't schedule another appointment.
Description of Work: Provider didn't do anything. Couldn't be bothered to show up or call for 2 scheduled appointments to quote roof repairs.

+ -1 moreA former boss recommended these guys and I knew how particular she was, so I gave them a call. They were very responsive in providing a bid and came in at a lower price than the other two providers I tried. I went ahead and contracted with them for the work. I requested one of two different dates and they accommodated my request even though our weather had been less than optimal for roofing and their schedule was off. They told me it would take two days and they almost finished the first day. They came back early the second day and were done before 11:00. The workmanship on the roof looks good. We have had lots of rain since the job was done and I have no leaks. The people I worked with at Black (Erin, Darrell, Todd) were all perfectly professional and helpful throughout the process. The cleanup after the job was perfect as well. I am very happy with the total job.

Description of Work: I highly recommend Black Roofing. They were experienced, professional, and did excellent work. They came when they said they would, and worked on our job until it was done. They answered all of my questions fully, and were committed to getting our job done to our specifications. We had some prior issues with attic ventilation and they worked on it till we got things right. We love our new roof and highly recommend Black Roofing!

+ -1 moreOur 5 unit condo building has flat roofs on top. Black Roofing did what they said they would. Roofing was repaired, seams were sealed, and the details taken care of. So, we had a flood disaster here in Boulder shortly after they were done. No leaks or problems at all. Nice job.

+ -1 moreI figured out the problem myself but I didn?t want to do the work myself. I used them to roof my house 12 years ago and I thought they did a decent job then so I gave them another shot. They came in under their estimate. There were two guys that spent about two hours here and they cleaned up after they were done. They even took pictures of the repair job so that I could see what they had done. I had a good experience with them and I would recommend them. They are the first people I will call when my roof needs more work.

+ -1 moreSam was on time, professional, friendly, and best of all, did a great job. The skylight doesn't leak a drop. I would definitely hire again and recommend Black Roofing for any roofing repairs.
Description of Work: The flashing on my 30-year old skylight finally bit the dust. I contacted four roofing companies to get repair estimates. I received only two responses and estimates and went with Black Roofing as they were quite a bit less expensive than the company who had reroofed my house in November 2000, and who, in my opinion, should have replaced the flashing in the first place. Black Roofing sent someone out on a Saturday to do the work, and great work they did!

The Service/Sloped Team specializes in both Commercial and Residential projects. We work with both flat (EPDM, PVC, TPO, Fibertite, etc.) and sloped systems (shingle, tile, shakes, etc.) of all varieties. The Service/Sloped team addresses a wide range of projects.
