Berlin Flooring

We had hardwood floors refinished which included a kitchen with peninsula, a powder room, 2 halls, and 2 closets. The workers performed the work over 2 days and the end result was fantastic. 2 coats of finish. They covered the cabinets, doorways etc. and I could not find evidence of dust anywhere as they cleaned up really well. The floors look great, like they are new. We used Glitza and it's an amazing finish. A bit smelly. even after 2 nights away, but diminishes finally and I am extremely happy with the end result. The workers went the extra mile and corrected a problem I had in the transition to the laundry room by installing a new end piece of wood, and matched it nicely. We went from worn floors to brand new looking wood floors. Thank you Berlin Flooring!!!!!

They were excellent! There was one worker they used who was a part-time worker who was not acceptable. They came in and straightened out everything right away. Their work was extremely high quality, and they followed up on any problems with it. They were just an easy company to work with.

Team was professional, punctual, clean and very responsive. True "workman like standards" were applied throughout the process -- from quote to completion. They took care of my home, as I do, and treated me with dignity and respect. They have restored my faith in contractors after getting completely ripped off by the prior contractor. My home was a large job and yes the price was a bit higher than the other bids I received. However, the proverbial you "get what you pay for" holds true! My new floors are beautifull and I highly recommend Berlin Flooring.

Company did pretty good job, but not great. First day they were three hours late. But other days they were on time or early. Crew that added hardwood flooring to our existing floors were great. They did an awesome job. Staining crew not so good. Stain splashed on our trim, some gouges not filled correctly. No stain under refrigerator or stove despite reminding the estimator and crew three different times. Several disconnects between the estimator and owner saying different things. But the company did come out and correct the problems we brought up.

They did an excellent job. They were very responsive to my call for an estimate. They came and did an estimate. They worked with me to schedule when I wanted it done. They were excellent. The fellow came and did a very good job. He was very careful to screen everything off because there was a lot of dust involved.

Berlin Floors did a great job. They promptly came out and got me the estimate for the job quickly. We were able to schedule in about 3 weeks, once we had cleared the rooms. They kept in touch with me while the work was being done (since we had to be out of the home), I knew what was going on at all times. The floors look fantastic!

Berlin Flooring did an excellent job, from the initial inspection and estimation phase through project completion. Their price was competative, though a bit higher. But ,the other company we asked to provide an estimated used sub-contractors who did not specialize in hardwood flooring. The folks at Berlin were total professionals, from beginning to end. The project was completed on time, and actually below the estimated price. My sense is that Berlin estimated at the high end to help cover some unknown costs, where the other company did the opposite. This may have accounted for some of the cost estimate. But, I really think that in this industry, you get what you pay for. The quality of the Berlin finished quality was top notch. I'd recommend them to anyone.

They were great! We were amazed with the work they did. They did great work and we would definitely use them.

We had Berlin replace about 1400 square foot of carpet with red oak flooring to exactly match our kitchen. They used two coats of Glitsa Swedish for the final finish. We were responsible for moving all our furniture off the main floor, and once they came in, they were very efficient and had the job done in less than a week. We did have one small area that they missed, and they came back immediately and fixed it. The floors are absolutely beautiful and they matched the kitchen perfectly. We would absolutely use Berlin again for any other jobs.

This is the second time we used them. They were excellent both times! If there is ever anything that you notice after the job is done, call them and they will come fix it for you.
