Awesome! Highly recommend. Representative who came to home (the co-owner and co-founder of the company, I believe) was friendly, insanely knowledgeable, and helpful. Installation was even done in my absence and went well.

It was a free estimate. We liked everything about the estimate and we liked everything about the individual. He followed up more frequently than he needed to, but he at least followed up to see where we were. However, we are really not ready to do the closet at this point since we haven’t done the remodeling of the bedroom and the bathroom. So, we are waiting, but we really enjoyed him and his bid was in the ballpark. The quality of work looked like the right kind of quality of work for us. So, we were very happy with the bid. We haven’t used them yet.

They came and gave me an estimate with pictures and everything...right on the spot. I loved the concept, gave them a 50% deposit and they came out when scheduled to do the work. They originally estimated it would take about 3 hours to do the work but it was more like 5. I think they did a great job though and I love it.

Of our 3 estimates for the work, Affordable Closets was the only one to produce designs on-site, print them, and leave them with us with cost estimates; they also delivered quickly. Affordable closets design was less expensive than the other quotes we received, yet it included upgrades the others would have charged more for, including upgraded panels on the dressers and "brushed" instead of shiny hardware. While they didn't have the correct color for one of our dresser drawers and the hardware at the time of the initial installation (error in the delivery of parts), they did have them available a week later (after reordering) and came out again to put them in place for us. We were able to use the closet in the meantime. These guys were great. And the closet is fantastic. We are able to fit more than 3 times as much in our new closet as our old. For anyone considering a built-in closet, I'd recommend at least 3 estimates. Seeing a lot of options really helped us decide what we wanted.

The design process was quick and easy, and they came up with something we would not have considered on our own. The installer was very professional. We had to request additional cleating because of our old plaster walls, something that the designer did not factor in. It added about $70 to the job. Also, the installer did not have one of the two belt/tie racks that we ordered, necessitating a second trip. Overall the experience was very good.

The over all experience with Affordable Closets was quite pleasant. There were some glitches with the design and the installation, plus the installation was not done when they said it would be. This was all resolved in a very professional manor.
