Jim did an amazing job finishing our basement! Took about a month which was perfect timing being just him and a helper. He kept us in the loop on what was going on and matched the rest of our house perfectly.

Jim and Carlos did an amazing job taking our scratched up banisters and making them like new. They were also able to reinforce our railing that was installed poorly when it was built. They did all of this in less than 3 days and were willing to work around our schedule. Highly recommend!

Spectacular from start to finish! When we bought the house, framing was already (mostly) done and we self-installed most of the electric. Jim and Carlos took over from there. The project took about two months total between the two guys. From day 1, they were exceptionally professional. Jim would text me every morning to let me know he was on the way, and would give me updates on what was to come as the project progressed. Only a few changes were made to the original project, and Jim was excellent about offering sound suggestions if something needed to be changed. He worked with us every day to ensure we had everything we needed/wanted in the spaces we did. They were very clean despite a ton of drywall dust. At the end of every day, they would tidy up the area and did their best to cover everything down there. His pricing was the middle bid among the others I received, and the work was exceptional, very meticulous, and done beautifully. Highly recommend.

He did a great job framing, drywall, insulation and painting my garage and building wall/closet/doors and converting my tub to shower pan and hvac vent. He showed up everyday until the jobs were done and very easy to work with! The quality of work was outstanding!

Jim and his crew did a great job! They had to reframe where the enclosure was going. They had to move and re-plumbed the and water lines. Also had them put in new flooring. Jim picked out a very nice design, looks like wood. Would most definitely recommend and hire again!

Jim and Dean did a fantastic job on my project. They were both very professional and approachable during the whole project. They stayed late to finish the job well ahead of schedule.

We had a small 400 SF basement that was finished. Jim did a great job, even when some of the details from the way condo was built presented some challenges. We were able to get a small room, full bathroom and small laundry area built and it looks great. Jim was easy to work with as far as choice of colors and materials ect. He kept in communication when items were not available and he presented other options. Working with Jim was easy when we changed some items in the middle of project.

We are so thankful for the work done on our home. Jim did very high quality work. He did dry wall, tile, painting, ceilings, and trim. He also installed vanities, showers, toilets, and light fixtures. We are beyond happy with our home. He was also great at communicating and informing us of any issues. He never made any decisions without informing us first. We would highly recommend using him!

Can't say enough about Jim Ruffin and his crew. They did a superb job on remodeling our basement, and they were the most recent after quoting several sources. We'll definitely hire them again.

It took far too long, much longer than planned. The quality, in the end, was OK, but, in the end, I felt that was much more due to my attention to detail than theirs. They are nice folks, but need to develop clear plans, communications, and expectations.

Jim did a good job with the dry wall work, kitchen cabinet install, plumbing, and tile work. He would do a good job of communicating his plan and following through on when he was going to accomplish the work as well as status updates. Since we picked out all the materials, there was a couple things we didn't communicate well on how it should be installed. If something needed to be changed, Jim was very open to making several of the changes that we requested through the project. He also did a good job of cleaning up after himself. Jim provided a good value for his work. He was very good at communicating with us. He also was very good with dry wall. I would recommend Jim to anyone for a kitchen or bathroom remodel.

Jim and his Crew do excellent work. We have been looking for contractors, builders, finishers and all kinds of people to hire to finish our basement, and we ended up going with Jim and Integrity Remodeling. Are we glad we did!! Jim does most all the work himself with his own employee which saved us on having to hire a contractor and pay them to hire out other companies to complete the job in pieces. With Jim and his employee, we knew who we were getting, he talked to us everyday and kept us up to date on the process, and is very easy to talk to. He gives great recommendations and sure does know what he is doing. I recommend him to anyone who is looking for a basement finish, remodel, service or anything of that nature. We plan to use him to help us with our upstairs remodel now!! Thanks Jim!!!

It went very well. Everything Jim and his other work man, Ivan did, was done very good. Very pleased with the whole job. They were courteous, professional did a wonderful job, and did it in less time than what they had previously anticipated.. It was very easy to work with Jim on a time to get the job done. Very pleased and we are having Jim do all the drywall and framing in your basement in a few months!

JIm and his team represented all the qualities we expected from our contractor, fair price, punctual, and clean. Jim was very accommodating with the design we had in mind and made all the details work exactly how we wanted them. We had a specific time we needed the basement done by and Jim had it completed ahead of that date through regular hours work and extra hours even weekends if necessary. We couldn't be happier with the way the basement turned out and would definitely use Integrity again for any other future projects.

It took almost a month to complete this project, all of this time the old shower was un-usable and so was most of the bathroom. During which getting any information was difficult at best. The installer would just randomly show up at the rental without any warning. When it was done, the show broke on first use, the water wouldn't shut off, and they had to come back and fix the install. The clean-up after the job was poorly done to.o.

Living in a bi-level house, our kitchen remodel was practically a full upstairs remodel. Walls were removed, electrical was moved/changed, layout changed, a gas line installed to both the fireplace and new stove, new flooring, raised the fireplace and installed a bench, new doors, popcorn ceiling removed, fresh paint... and of course the full kitchen remodel. Everything looks fantastic! We could not be happier with the outcome! Looks like a completely new house!

Jim and crew member Glen did all work except electrical which Jim subcontracted out. Jim took care of pulling the construction permit and inspections. The job was started in Nov 2014 and finished the first week in Feb 2015 even with the off-time I requested during Thanksgiving and two weeks around Christmas. These guys were always on-time, every day, and diligent in adhering to their own elevated work ethic. It's something very refreshing to see. I've too often experienced the polar opposite when dealing with construction guys. Jim sticks to his words and promises. I never had to worry that he wouldn't. I never thought this fairly big project would actually have an element of fun to it, but Jim and Glen have the attitude that often made it that way. I think Jim's work speaks for itself. He takes care to do things right, and is skilled in virtually all aspects of home construction. There is no doubt I will be asking Jim back for future projects as they come up. Trust is a mighty thing, and I have plenty of it in Jim.

Jim was incredibly professional and the entire process with Integrity Remodeling from estimate to completion went very smoothly. The Jacuzzi/shower combo in my basement had been leaking and was in desperate need of a remodel. The entire thing had to be waterproofed and the tiling around the Jacuzzi completely redone. It was a difficult job as the Jacuzzi was custom done and a very unique setup. Jim was up to the challenge! He gave me a fair estimate and I was beyond impressed with his professionalism, punctuality, and demeanor. I am very pleased with how the job came out and the speed at which Jim completed it without sacrificing quality or cleanliness. I would absolutely recommend Jim and Integrity Remodeling and I wouldn't hesitate to have him work on my house when the next thing inevitably pops up!

Horribly!  I would not hire this business to hang a closet door.  For starters, Jim (the owner), came to our home to measure our basement and then provide us with a budget.  He did, however we have 9 foot ceilings and he budgeted 8 foot ceilings so the original budget was not even close to accurate.  We also discussed a cutout in the stairwell which he neglected to add into the budget and seemed to have totally forgotten when we actually got started with the framing.  There were major communication issues throughout the entire project with Jim and they started at the beginning.  The start date was pushed back 3 separate times. I would hear nothing from Jim, assume everything was on schedule and email him the day before start to confirm what time he would be arriving.  Three times I was told that was not the plan anymore and he would give me a new start date.
We made it very clear to Jim when he provided the budget that we needed someone to complete framing, drywall, paint and finish carpentry.  The remainder we had already contracted out (thank goodness we did!).  We hired Jim to complete this work.  We did not hire Jim to be a general contractor and bring in subcontractors, which is what he did.  Luckily the framer he brought in knew more than Jim did about framing and did a fantastic job.  Because the framer was so good we kept moving forward with Jim.
The drywall could not have gone worse!  The framer told us that Jim did not intend on completing our drywall himself because he had taken another job and that he was looking for a drywall crew to bring in. The framer told us this. Jim never communicated this. One Friday evening at about 6 pm a drywall crew showed up at our home.  They told us they were there to meet Jim and provide him with a cost to complete the drywall in our basement.  Again, Jim had said nothing to us about the drywall and we already had a budget from Jim for materials and labor for drywall.  Jim never showed and we ended up taking the crew through our basement.  In hindsight, we should have fired Jim then and there and hired this crew.  They were actual drywallers.  Jim did not end up hiring them because apparently they were too expensive.  Again, this information did not come from Jim but from the new drywall crew that ended up showing up unexpectedly one evening.  During all of this Jim had the drywall delivered.  He called one evening and told us the materials would be showing up in about a half hour and could be let the crew in?  We were not even home and of course Jim had no plans of being there himself.  We rushed home and let them in.  This crew ended up destroying a window through which they brought the drywall in and we eventually had to completely replace the window. Not cheap!
Back to the crew (a husband and wife) that Jim did hire to complete our drywall.  Turns out he had never even met this couple in person before.  Apparently he had somehow found their number and hired them over the phone.  He had apparently told them we had 8 foot ceilings because I got an earful when they saw that the ceilings were 9 ft.  I told them to call Jim to work it out and apparently they did and agreed to get started.  Jim professed that these two had been drywalling for 35 years (um, not even close).  They hung the drywall the wrong direction causing need for additional sheets of drywall. They would begin in a room and then randomly move to another room and hang a piece of drywall.  They even started taping and mudding in random places for some reason.  Their work was not the worst problem.  We had given Jim access to our garage code to come in and work while we were at work.  He went ahead and passed this on to this drywall crew.  We found a ton of evidence each time they were in our home and we were gone that they had wandered through our house, into bedrooms, opening drawers, utilizing our kitchen and refrigerator, but the worst was the bathroom.  Without getting too gross, let's just say they went number 2 in 2 different bathrooms and proceeded to wipe their feces all over the toilet and walls.  We continuously were calling and emailing Jim to tell him of the issues and he kept informing us that he had spoken with him and it would not happen again.  The 2nd time they did what they did in the bathroom we told Jim they could not come back to our home, the garage code had been changed and the alarm system was on.  We had a long talk with Jim and he was told that he was to complete the work he was hired to do or we would find someone else.  Jim showed up for a total of 2 days with a new drywall crew and that was all the work he did.
The new crew was normal but also not experienced and incredibly slow.  It took 6 weeks to complete drywall, which we later found out from several contractors should have taken no more than a week.  We ended up spending a ton of money to fix the drywall problems after we finally fired Jim and told him we no longer needed his services.  They had covered 6 electrical outlets and 3 plumbing cleanouts with drywall that we had to find.  The outlets that were cut out were done so poorly that they had to have huge chunks cut out and new pieces put in.
You would be better off to utube the work you need done and do it yourself.  Jim will end up costing you time and money and screw up your house!
Response from Integrity Remodeling Services
"this member for starters is being unfair in her review she told me she needed to get started as soon as possible and she did not find anyone else so i tried to get her scheduled anyway by finding a sub to take care of some of her work i was on another contract she acted like she was in a hurry and i told her i was on another contract and that i would look for a drywall person we had a bad experience with the first drywaller and i resolved that but she was not happy at that point even though we finished the drywall stage she was very difficult to get along with it just goes to show that you cant try to do to much at a time when i am involved with the jobsite things always go well because i pay attention to detail and get the job done in the right way i will not be subbing any work out in the future. due to time restraints this one did not work out due to the fact that i was not involved in the process enough.however she did get the work finished as far as budget? basement finishing is based on sq footage my price was below the average price most basement finish companies would charge the work came out nice however and there is no justification for this review."
