Description of Work: I scheduled an appointment for Oct 29th to have them look at what I wanted done (replace driveway approach and perhaps the entire driveway) and to get an estimate. They were only able to come on a day I was not home but I figured that was ok since the work was all outside so they could easily study the situation without my being present--I did relate to office personnel that I would not be home and she that was not a problem. I do not know if they came by. They never called or mailed or emailed an estimate to me. I tried to call them but got an answering machine message that they are not working or giving estimates in November. I understand they can't do concrete work in the winter but it would have been appropriate to prepare the estimate as scheduled to plan to have the work done in the spring.

Description of Work: They were fantastic and up front with their product. I wanted my driveway repaired from an earlier dealer (Friend of a Neighbor. C.C. was upfront stating the proper way should have been replace the whole driveway and I thank then for that. I did not use C.C. this time but will for my next home cement project. They were/are a very professional company. AA++ rating, highly recommend.

Description of Work: Came over to our home and advised us on a solution to our request and did not charge anything for the advice. They could have easily quoted a project price and done the work but they advised us not to do what we were thinking and saved us the money. Very honest and would use them again!

+ 0 moreIt all went Very well. The project took two mornings, one for demolition and setting forms, the second for pouring and working the concrete. They were on time, performed their work quickly, efficiently, and professionally. They were careful to not damage any existing structures, including working carefully around two sprinkler heads that butted up to two of the new concrete slabs they placed. All the workers were very courteous and professional, and each day cleaned up the job site completely. The slabs look great, and they were also the least expensive of the three bids I received. I would highly recommend them, and certainly use them again for my concrete needs.
Description of Work: We had two sections/squares (approximately 10' x 10' each) of our existing concrete driveway that were badly spauling and flaking, to the extent that portions were up to two inches lower than they should have been. In addition we had a corner of another section that was cracked and broken off from the main slab. Concrete Connection demolished, removed, and disposed of the two spauling squares, and saw cut off, removed, and disposed of the broken corner. They installed a gravel base layer, laid rebar, then poured and placed the concrete for the new slabs.

+ 1 moreWe had to wait a bit for the job to start, but it was well worth it. When it was our turn, they worked with us from the design stage, making sure we got what we really wanted. We made changes as we went along, even adding a section of driveway to be removed and repoured. Everything was taken in stride. We never felt like we were being rushed. A great team!
Description of Work: We had a simple idea of what we wanted to happen in our entryway and our back patio. The crew worked together with us to design a walkway and a patio that would fit our needs as well as being beautiful. The decorative stamping and color came out perfectly. We couldn't be more pleased! I would definitely call Concrete Connections for any of my future work!

+ -1 moreOnce the job was set, they were very professional from start to finish. However, did have initially a little bit of a challenge contacting them and getting and estimate. The initial call was not returned and when a second call was placed my original message was evidently not received. Then took a few days to get the contractor out to look at the job. Once the estimate was received, again there was some communication difficulties in getting a date set for the job. Still, once that was done, the rest rean very smoothly.
Description of Work: Poured a concrete slab as a foundation for a room extension.

+ 0 morewe were happy with everything about how the project turned out. It was done about a year ago and no problems at all have surfaced. The price was competitive. The work was completed very quickly. We could not be happier with it.
Description of Work: We had the size of our driveway doubled. The original part has some brick detail which had to be matched and we were a little concerned about driving those extra heavy concrete trucks on the existing driveway. But they knew what they were doing.

+ -1 moreConcrete Connections had been recommended to us by two of our friends who had replaced their driveways. We did get other estimates including one that was twice as much. The owner, who gave us the estimate, also showed up to run the job on the day of the pour. It was hot and muggy when the work was being done, the concrete truck showed up early, and they were working one man short, and they still made everything go perfectly --mostly by working their tails off. They were pleasant and professional, and showed up when they said they would, which was important to us. We are renovating a large old home and have dealt with many contractors the past few months. Surprisingly few have shown up at the agreed time. The new driveway is a huge improvement to our house. I couldn't be happier with the work and will not hestitate to recommend them to others or use them again in the future.
Description of Work: We doubled the size of our driveway. We had rows of bricks embedded in the concrete to match the older section.
