 + -1 moreWorst contractor I've ever hired. Avoid Aqauscapes. Period.
Description of Work: Installed a sports field irrigation system. If I could give zero stars I would. Kevin and his crew installed a $6000 irrigation system in my back pasture which failed the day he installed it. He complained he had to honor his 5 year warranty and proceeded to debate with me how bad it really was - hey - ANY LOSS OF WATER IS A PROBLEM. He then came down to "repair" the joint leak and made it worse. He hung up the phone on me numerous times and did not make right on his 5 year warranty on parts & labor. I had to get a friend to come down to help me and she knew more about how to fix it than this guy (and she also helped fix another one of his installations). If I could use swear words in this post to describe the situation and my feelings about Kevin, I would. Just be forewarned that he is not an honorable man and will take your money and then walk away and leave you to figure out the problem and cause you to hire someone else to fix his mistakes.

 + -1 moreIt was very fine. They were on time. I didn't even really have to be here. They came and took care of their business. It worked out well. I have had conversations with the owner Kevin several times on different issues. He has always been very responsive and very professional. It was a scheduled event. They showed up at the scheduled time. They were here for may be half an hour.
Description of Work: They did a winterization of my sprinkler system.

 + 0 moreIt went great. Kevin was very quick to respond to our request for an estimate and to visit about what we wanted. Since we liked his ideas for improvements and making our waterfall maintenance much simpler, we scheduled the work for about a week and a half after our initial meeting. Kevin and crew showed up as they promised and got the work done in one day. He stayed in touch with us throughout the day with questions that came up. We would highly recommend Aquascapes for any work!

 + 0 moreWe called and scheduled an appointment for an estimate. They came out that night and did measurements. We explained that we wanted to schedule an install quickly because we did not have a sprinkler system in the hot summer, and the said one would be emailed in the next few days. A week went by without receiving the written estimate. We followed up, and they said they would "get aroun to it in the next few days". Very unprofessional; I would not recommend.

They were very friendly, professional, and always kept us informed as to timing and delays (i.e. there was a rain delay with another job that pushed our job a couple of days - not a problem since they kindly kept us informed). They were very honest about our sprinkler options, allowing us to ask as many questions as needed. Even a couple of late arrivals wasn't really an issue. The price was high, but we knew it would be with a complete overall and installation.
Description of Work: Estimate, removal of old sprinkler system, including valve box and control box, installation of entirely new system, relocation and installation of new valve boxes, relocation and installation of new control box.

 + 0 moreAt all times the work went well, according to schedule. If there is a problem, Kevin is responsive and works until everything is right.
Description of Work: I have used the services of Aquascapes for several years. In April 2011 they converted a small in-ground pond to a "pondless fountain" with a short stream. They worked hard, cleaned up everyday, and did a wonderful job. I converted a ~1000 sq ft section of lawn to a drought-tolerant landscape. Aquascapes removed the lawn, re-routed sprinklers, installed drip irrigation, and added soil and tilled. Kevin is great. He is able to discuss the details of projects, offer advice, and correctly estimate the cost. He also does the sprinkler start up in the spring and the blowout in the fall.
