Team was professional and friendly. Even arrived to work when snow had fallen overnight. Blew snow away and continued on project. Provided prompt follow-up to our questions and concerns. Cost of project was very reasonable.

The owner Mark had his carpenter (I use that loosely), Greg, do all the work. He never worked an 8 hour/day! The sheetrock and plastering were horrible. Attempted to install lights but could not figure out to get them to work. Mark had to hire a licensed electrician to properly install. Painted over plaster tape used to smooth lines on new sheetrock. We wanted 4 can light installed on the kitchen ceiling. He over-cut the holes for the lights and did not patch them. Painted over the trim around lights. The work was not acceptable and I had asked Mark to send someone else to finish the job, he said he did not have anyone else to send. The backsplash was glued over old glue from the old backsplash. The backsplash was not level on the wall. Wasted a lot of flooring and we had to order 1 more case to complete the job. On the last day, I told Mark we did not want Greg to return and to take all of his tools and equipment. Since Mark had no one else we had to hire another tile/carpenter to fix the floors and backsplash. We had to pay that individual an additional $1000.00. I paid the entire agreed amount to Marco Construction Llc $8475.00 (my mistake). Do not refer customers who want the job done right.

I had hired a contractor to re- do my deck. They did the demo and left. Mark and his crew came in one day after hiring them. They worked 10 hr. days for 5 days and got it done for me. They worked through snow and rain in below freezing conditions, to get it done. The crew was courteous, friendly and meticulous. Very thrilled with the outcome on my second level deck!

Responded so quickly and was able to schedule my project that same week. The work was done quickly by pleasant and professional employees. Great experience.

I hired Marco Construction for a non-load-bearing interior wall removal and drywall repair at the connection. Solid work quality, poor professionalism. Pros: -Great quality work. They were able to match the drywall texture really close to what it had been before and after I painted it, you can hardly tell there used to be a wall there. -Completeness of the project - They handled everything including debris removal, and moved an outlet to a new spot. -Quick response - Mark was very prompt at first with responding to my initial request, and when I contacted him later (see below) he was quick to respond. Cons: -Upfront process - After chatting on the phone/over text, I was told an email quote for signature would be sent later that day (Friday). By Saturday it had not arrived, and was told it would be sent on Monday. It finally came across to me on Tuesday. This was a little concerning because we were planning the work to be completed that week and I wanted to be locked in a few days in advance so I could plan accordingly. -Day-of planning/communication - I was booked for 8 am but received a text 30 mins prior saying that they were delayed by 2 hours and would start at 10 am. This was really concerning because I expected this to be a one-day job, and also very weird since at 8 am I was the first job of the day, so I could not think of a reason why they would be 2 hours late. They ended up being about 45 minutes late. Only one person was sent for this job and around 3 pm that day after the wall was removed, he left without telling me what was happening even though the drywall was not repaired and there was still debris everywhere. I called the office and was told that he would come back tomorrow to finish things up. This was not going to work because I was going to be out of town for a couple of days, and it was frustrating that no one told me it was a two-day job ahead of time (or even from the person who was actually doing the work). -Professionalism/use of supplies / etc. - 1. The person doing the work didnt wear a mask at all in my house, even when talking to me closely. I get this is a construction project but we are still in the middle of a pandemic. 2. He asked to use my own broom to clean up, and to use my fan to dry the wall. At no point would I expect a contractor to have to use my personal supplies for a job they were hired for. 3. He did not clean up fully - there was dust everywhere on the floor (I noticed he only used floor protection for part of the job) 4. He did not cover the wall outlet plates when putting up drywall, so I had to replace a number of them because they were covered with mud/texture.

The timely and fair estimate, the quality of the workmanship, and, best of all, going a little beyond what the estimate called for. Very nice people to work with and would not hesitate to call on them again. However, due to overnight snow, the job is not finished.

Got the work done on agreed schedule.

They were fantastic to work with and did an excellent job! I was really impressed with their communication and responsiveness to me about the project, and they were able to get to the job very quickly which I appreciated. I couldn't be happier and would definitely hire again.

if you have a light construction project, look no further. their work is fantastic and prices extremely reasonable. this is a no nonsense contractor with multiple crews. they've done three jobs for me... rebuilding a collapsed redwood deck, removing a section of concrete driveway and installing a french drain. if i could, i'd give them 10 stars.

Marco Construction was very responsive to repair rotted joists on my deck. He set up the job and had the work completed within a week, at a time when I was having difficulty getting contractor estimates. His fee was very reasonable, the work was excellent, his workers were courteous and kept me informed throughout the project, and he got it done quickly. Bravo!!!

We had a challenging and highly technical 12x16 TREX deck re-leveling (repair) and refinish project that some other contractors declined to take on or quoted me absolutely ridiculous amounts. After moving a header board and re-leveling the joists, the TREX was completely removed and replaced with a new color scheme and new TREX railings with cocktail rail. After a miscommunication with a local TREX deck supply company resulting in a minor delay due to the unique color combination, the final product was worth the wait. Kyle B. from Marco Construction was as meticulous and detail-oriented as I would have been in ensuring that this deck was finished looking exactly how I envisioned it from the beginning. Only pictures do this project justice, but I cannot upload them to HomeAdvisor with this review. The final cost was a little higher than the original quote, but not out of the question due to the additional framing, header, and deck board installs work required to build the deck as I envisioned it.
