I WISH I COULD UPLOAD PHOTOS - THEY SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES! Contracted with this individual to do a remodel/small addition on my home. He GROSSLY exaggerated his qualifications, knowledge and ability. The most egregious part is that prior to commencing the work, I suggested that we hire a concrete guy to do the stem wall and Erik assured me that he knew what he was doing and it was actually going to save me money to have him do the work. He claims to have 20 years experience. Once the forms came off the stemwall (after repair attempts he did to the blown out sections) it was obvious he had no expertise or experience in this area. The walls were crooked, heavily honeycombed, and had numerous large voids with exposed rebar. DO NOT HIRE THIS MAN TO WORK ON YOUR PROPERTY!! It took him and his helper EIGHT DAYS to construct the forms and pour the wall. I later took the photos to concrete guys in town and was told it should have taken three days tops. The real pros were appalled at the substandard quality of this work. Being angry about being fired, Erik padded his final invoice and actually expected payment for this inferior work. He has no idea how to stage or facilitate a project – he spends more time running to the hardware store for forgotten items than he does onsite working. He left me with a nightmare of consequences and I was lucky enough to find an experienced contractor to fix his mess.
