Description of Work: We had no heat from our in-floor heating system the day after Christmas; they came out that day, replaced a hot water circulation pump and pressure gauge, and returned the next day to complete a system service.

Description of Work: I have used Creative for plumbing, water heater replacement and furnace checkout the last several years. Their work is always very good, quality is good and they are always on time. The only complaint is price and thery are very expensive, but I trust them over other plumbers and furnace people in this area. I will continue to use them even if they are over priced. The last trip was for a fall furnace checkup which I thought the price was reasonable becasue they had to crawl under the house to do the check out.

Description of Work: I signed up for their Preferred Customer Service Plan last fall because I thought it was a good deal. I called up in advance to see what the cost would be for an initial inspection and the manager agreed to waive the $89 fee. However, when the technician came out he charged me anyway. That ticked me off but I let it go. I had a small space heater not working in my sun room which I wanted repaired. I mentioned I had a new heater in the garage. Rather than look at the old one, he suggested we install the new one instead. I agreed... until he quoted me $350 for its installation. That was too much money, so I declined. A week later I found another contractor who installed it for me at just $90. Recently I had my six-month free inspection and the first technician was pleasant and checked my furnace. All was well. I wanted someone to come and suck up a small amount of water on the floor of my crawl space. (That's all.) I have two working sump pumps underneath my house and they had been running a lot (which is good). The plumber came out that afternoon and I went with him underneath the house, showed him the water, but instead I got talked into installing a third sump pump (which I feel I did not need). I went into shock when I found out the price. After the new pump was installed, I went under the house and discovered it did not work. I went back the next day and it still wasn't working. I called the company and told them I had changed my mind and wanted them to remove the pump. Several days later the manager came and upon my insistence removed the pump. It's only fair to mention that he did get it to work, but I had spent too much money and could not afford this. I told him I had felt pressured into buying it. I wanted a refund for the pump and part of the work they had done. He left after telling me he would figure out the costs after he returned to the office. I did not hear from the company and had to call them a few days later. It took three or four phone calls before they got back to me, and then they would not tell me what the refund would be. The check was supposedly in the mail, but when I got it two weeks later, the postmark on the envelope told me the check had not been mailed out until the day before I received it. I complained about the small amount of my refund ($150) and asked for more. The manager talked to the owner and several more days passed before it was decided not to refund me any more. Now I owe $600 to my credit card and for nothing gained.

Description of Work: Root clean out.

Description of Work: Inspected the furnace and entire heating system. Replaced two old thermostats with new ones. He even had on had a selection of thermostats so I had a choice. His work was fast and effecient.

Description of Work: Complete new heater/filter system. Return air ducting. Set up and follow up.
