VACANT INTERIORS

We hired Vacant Interiors to pain the interior of a rental home. They were chosen based on price and they provided a detailed estimated within a couple of days. However, the paint job they did was horrible. There were numerous places missed and lots of paint droplets on shelves. The quote included painting the baseboards, which was not done. The quote also included the ceilings, which were only partially done. The project manager, Kevin, was somewhat argumentative but they did return and repainted missed areas. Between the initial painting and the return touchup, new carpet was installed. As a result, they only painted the top half of the baseboards. We were given a 10% discount for the problems and the office staff were friendly and helpful. But given the extremely poor quality of painting done, we will not use this company again.

I didn't go with their plan. I thought the estimate was way high. They were responsive.

I feel the workmanship was shoty and the work man were rude.

They're very good. It was very quick. That was what was nice. They came in, took a look, gave me an estimate the same day in writing faxed to me, and they got it done very nicely and very quickly. It was a pretty good experience.

This company I thought was a handyman service. I told them when I scheduled an appointment that I needed paint and wall touchup along with some other mechanical things. They came out and told me that they don't do painting and touch up wall stuff, that they would have to contact another entity to do all the painting and that they would also have to schedule with me. We were trying to get our home on the market within 2 weeks and they could not do the work within that time frame and neither could the painter. I could not figure out on the estimate if they included the paint touch up and wall repairs. They NEVER followed up with me either to see if I wanted to have the work done. It seemed that they did a lot of work to get the estimate but never followed up either written or verbally. Hmmm. I found a handyman that came out the next day and took two days to do the work and it was finished to expectation.

Steve and his crew, particularly Gustavo, were a pleasure to work with. They did the job quickly, carefully, and accurately. I would not hesitate to call them again.

Vacant Interiors came out and got it done quickly. Their price, quality, and professionalism are excellent. I would use them again in the future if I needed to.

Their price was very competitive and their work was second to none. It looked like a new house on the day we moved in! They finished in the time they said they would and did it for what they said it would cost. We will be using Vacant Interiors when we finish our basement. Bayar is great and even came back for a few minor touch ups.

They were very responsive to our phone calls and told us exactly what we needed to provide (tile, grout) and what they would provide. They 2 guys that did the job showed up on time and worked very hard. The end result was great! They ripped out the carpet in the bathroom and tiled it all in one day and then came back the next day to grout. Looks great - couldn't ask for better!

On the summer of 2010 I had a home listed that had been a rental for almost a decade. It was not in great shape. It sat on the market for several months (and several price reductions) with no luck even though it was in a top area. After having convinced the out of state Sellers to renovate, Vacant Interiors completed a complete reconditioning of the property (paint, drywall, floor repair and refinishing, carpet installation, laminate flooring installation and handyman repairs) in just a few weeks. The property was under contract before the work was completed and closed within 30 days thereafter - at a price $17,000 higher than the last list price. The Sellers recouped their entire investment and got the property sold quickly.

They were great, and fine. Their prices were reasonable.

The Vacant Interior guys were always punctual, did excellent work, met my deadlines, and were courteous and businesslike. I told them what I wanted (e.g. light fixtures) and they did the shopping and purchasing for me. We have built 2 homes and remodeled a 3rd home in the past and have dealt with a number of general contractors and their crews. Vacant Interiors was by far the best company we have dealt with; it was a stress-free experience for me. I would highly recommend them for all interior contract work. I will use them in the future as well.

Steve and his team did a great job painting our living room and hallway. They coordinated having the paint they used matched to a color I had chosen and took extra care in painting our coved ceiling.
