The Clock Repair Specialist

This clock originally belonged to my grandparents and from what I could tell was manufactured around 1920 and had not run from around the late 50's or early 60's. I inherited the clock from my parents and wanted to see if I could find someone who could restore it to working order. After a few tries with other jewelers who were not successful I finally found Graham Daykin the owner of The Clock Repair Specialist. Graham set up a time to come out to my house to take a look at the clock. He arrived on time and proceeded to take a look at the clock explaining so that I could understand what he was doing. After examining the clock he explained what he would need to do (dismantle, machine and lube the bearings and sleeves and reassemble and test for three weeks), putting the total time frame at 6 to 8 weeks and how much he would charge. At the end of 6 weeks Graham called and said the clock was running beautifully and set up a time to deliver it. When he delivered he went over what he had to do and went over the the operation of the clock and what I needed to do to keep the clock in fine working order. The bill was for the estimated quote I had been given. Through the whole process I was extremely pleased with all aspects of my interactions with Graham and would highly recommend him to anyone who has a fine time piece in need of repair. Thanks Graham it really meant a lot to me to get the clock back in fine running order something that I can't remember it doing since I was a young boy.
