STEPHEN'S PAINTING

Description of Work: Steve was to paint the entire interior (excluding ceiling) of a 800 sq ft condo I had just purchased but not yet moved into. I agreed to his estimate of $950 for paint and labor. I paid him the second day of what he said would be a 2-day job. Big mistake. He finished most of the work, but didn't do the storage/laundry room or complete the work in the two bedrooms. He left a note saying he stayed until 6:00 (so what? He had left sometime before 3:00 the previous day) and would call to arrange a time to finish the work. He hadn't called by two weeks later, so I called him. He answered the phone, said he would finish at end of week, he would call in a couple days to tell me what day. Needless to say, he didn't call. He hasn't returned any of my three calls since then. I needed to unpack my belongings and got tired of waiting, so I finished the work myself - paid another $30 for the paint, and spent about 3 hours finishing the work.
