They did a great job; easy to work with, pleasant, and it took very little time. They worked efficiently and we are very happy with the siding. It keeps out all the street noise, and keeps the house warm in the winter.
Description of Work: Elm Construction put foam padding on the house and then covered it up with the vinyl siding.

The siding looks good, however, over a period of 5 years some warping has developed and the contractor will not come over to repair. The siding has a lifetime warranty. He has brought people by our home several times to show what a good job he did but still he won't repair the siding.
Description of Work: Vinyl Siding on Entire Home. The siding, gutters, soffit and facia were completed. It took the contractor 5 weeks.

Response from Siding and Windows by ELM Construction
During this time period, the manufacturer of the siding originally purchased for the home went out of business. The warranty provided to the home-owner is the manufacturer's warranty and not ELM Construction's. With all intentions of repairing the siding, there was no possible way to do so because the manufacturing company closed it's doors for business. In terms of the timeliness of the job completion, there is always a delay with the ordering and shipping of materials to the home. Sometimes, this delay is 2-4 weeks, while taking roughly 3-7 days to completely side the home. I have confidence that the home was completed with diligence and perfection, which is why, to this day, that I still show potential buyer's this home and introduce them to the home-owner.
