Stephan refurbished over 700 sqft., of deck surface originally installed in 2010. The refurbishment was done very thoroughly with power washing, conditioning, sanding, more conditioning, and application of an oil based transparent stain we selected. The end result is a durable finish and the decks, stairs, and railings looking like when they were originally installed. I was very happy with the attention to detail and work ethic until the job was completed. I have the person for all future professional deck work, and consideration of other services he performs. Extremely pleased!

While other bidders were less expensive, I could tell that Stephan knew what he was doing and the requirements to bring this large patio back to its original luster. Instead of just applying a sealer, he acid washed it, removed the stains, and put three coats of sealer on it.. It looks amazing.

Did great work, did it in the time frame he said he would, even did a couple minor repairs on the deck including replacing a step I broke. He was easy to contact, easy to understand scope of his abilities and work. And at a good price.

Stephan responded immediately after contact with Home Advisor. He came promptly to provide a detailed proposal which he honored. He answered his phone and showed up as promised. Our deck needed repairs, power washing, sanding, and sealing. An eyesore is now a place to be enjoyed for years to come. Job well done!

i picked Shephard Constuction over the others because he was the only person that explained and gave me a detailed estimate in writing. He is a professional in what he does. Explained the different types of coatings and their Pros and Cons. We went with a stain on our deck which was done in two days which included prepping, power wash and sanding to remove the old coating then staining. Reasonably priced. Highly recommend!!!
