I struggle between an overall rating of a C or a D. This job, at best, was a C-. Noah was very responsive and claimed to be a perfectionist. He showed up on time and worked long days. When he said the project was complete, we noticed bad streaking on the ceiling. At first he denied this and then finally agreed to repaint. There were splatters of ceiling paint on the wall in two places, his over-spray into our storage room coated some workout equipment, and he damaged the latch assembly of one of the doors in the masking process. Noah said he was going to take the doors off of the hinges to paint but he didn't. Our text exchange regarding the ceiling was as follows: Noah- My concern is the roller would leave its own marks. Me- I don't know what to say. The rest of the house isn't streaked. Noah- I will be there around 7:45 tomorrow to hand paint the ceiling but I did see your office and I did see those roller marks. Me- I painted the office. I'm not a professional painter. That's why we hired you to do the job. I'm not trying to be rude about it but that's the facts of this situation. The main floor was done by professionals and we don't have the streaks.
