Hired these guys to tear down old deck and build a new one in May and paid $9700.00 for materials and a down. It is now September and they are not finished. There is still part of the old deck attached to the house, broken glass in the yard, the sliding glass door will not close(new deck not flush or too tight against house) concrete not poured for posts etc... Very disappointed...we are going to have to hire someone to clean up after them And possibly finish the job. update- November 9th After a lot of back and forth with the owners, everything has been completed. They had to meet us at the house and we had to point out everything they had not done. Although this project took over 5 months to complete and delayed the sale of our house, they were at our new house the same day with the final bill. Not only did they have us pay the full amount, they didn't even offer a discount for the amount of time it took them to complete the job, our time, stress etc... Nothing but excuses from this company. They said they have "learned" from this experience but I'm not sure they have. This is by far the worst experience I have ever had with a company in my life. Stay away.

Scam company. We have a contract for a porch for nearly $90,000. We’ve paid over $45,000 for material and services and only have a $4,000 strip of concrete. They have ghosted us for over three weeks and now will not return any calls. The project was supposed to be well underway by now. When I looked up our property for permit information so I can file a complaint against the contractor license, they haven’t even filed a permit like they were supposed to. This is a red flag when companies do not file proper permits. Generally, that means they are not licensed to do the work. The company is a nightmare to work with and is not legitimate. They came recommended through Angi and I have no idea how. The company’s main branch does not answer phones, nor do they call you back. Avoid this con artist company at all costs or you will be out $10,000’s. Next step is legal action. Update 1: Pikes Peak Regional Building Department confirmed they did not file for a permit and are required to do so before they touch my house. Stop Work Order will be issued against my residence now. Update 2: After some back-and-forth conversations and pleas, we agreed to give them a second chance. Big mistake. After broken promises of doing better, they still can't keep a schedule or coordinate when they will show up. They've been onsite once within a two-week period. All I have now is a beam bolted to my wall. Thier original plan that they were going to build from was denied by the building department; no surprise there. It is a daily game of phone calls and excuses about why they can't show up. Additionally, they leave nails and cigarette butts all over my yard and patio. I honestly think they ran out of money and can't finish my deck.

The team that was sent out to repair and paint my siding in 2016 was really good. Unfortunately, they are no longer with the team, but the project manager is still with S&R, so I'm confident that the quality of their work will still be really good.

I was so impressed with the whole process. We got a very reasonable quote. Then our work was schedule quickly. Everyone came on time and completed the job in the time frame we were given. They even were able to add painting to the job that we had not included in the bid. We feel the job was well-done and our deck is now safe and attractive.
