+ -1 moreBrian was great. He came out right away and is very friendly and professional. I have also had him work on many other plumbing issues in the past and he has always done excellent work. Everything from pipe repair to installing a water heater.
Description of Work: Snaking a clog in my kitchen drain and snaking my basement drain. (Including coming out early on a Saturday morning.)

+ -1 moreInitially, Brian was responsive, and quick to show up to get started. He finished about 60% of the rough in quickly. The rough in required a tie in to the main sewer line, during which time we have to shut off the water to the building. This requires us to alert all tenants (the building is both residential and commercial. We did this on the specified day, and Brian failed to show up. We re-scheduled with Brian, again alerted the tenants, and Brian failed to show up again. The next I heard from Brian was a bill for 90% of the rough in costs - way more than had been completed. I wrote him back and voiced my displeasure with the fact that he had missed two appointments. He wrote back and said he didn't see what the big deal was. I explained that it is a big inconvenience to both us and the tenants to have to prepare to turn off the water to the building. Giving him the benefit of the doubt, we again re-scheduled. He missed the appointment for the third time. I should have gone with my gut instinct after the first two appointment misses and gone with someone else. We will not use Brian again and will not recommend him to others.
Description of Work: We hired Brian to provide rough in and trim plumbing for a one bed, two bath residential remodel on an apartment in an old Victorian.

+ -1 moreWe have used Brian from Plumb-Merica when doing an extensive remodel at our house and have always found him extremely professional, knowledgeable and responsive. However, we have come to appreciate him all the more after we recently had a plumbing emergency. He had a full schedule that day but took time after his last appointment to help us. He knew what to fix and went straight to work and was extremely reasonable for such a high quality of work. I have found it difficult to find a good plumber but luckily we don't have to look any more. I would recommend Brian to anyone looking for a plumber.
Description of Work: We had a broken faucet that caused leaking through our first floor ceiling.
