Description of Work: O'Brien Electrical Contractors replaced the circuit breaker that controls the electric circuit to my electric dryer, tightened all the electric wire connection screws on the rest of the circuit breakers. Considering the work completed and the need to go to Home Depot to purchase a new circuit breaker, I thought the cost of service was reasonable. The needed circuit breaker was not a standard stock item that one would expect to be on the service provider's truck. The original breaker was made by Federal Pacific, and those breakers are no longer manufactured and no longer UL approved. So, the replacement breaker needed to be a breaker made by a different manufacture for use in a Federal Pacific breaker box.

 + -1 moreThey were running late, but called to tell me that they would be late (45 minutes) , due to unforseen traffic because of the Colorado flooding situation. (Roads were closed and so everyone was taking alternate routes.) The Master electrician Rick came in with two other men who finished the work in about 3 hours. Everything was done quickly and efficiently. Not only that but at a fraction of the cost of their competitors cost. I was so impressed that O'brien electric will be my sole electrician from now on. I will not call anyone else. He is licensed and bonded and A+ with the BBB and is a great worker. No more calling around for me! I've found my electrician.
Description of Work: Put in several new electrical outlets, installed a grounding rod into the ground, checked over the whole house for problems, replaced some bad wiring in the kitchen, and gave an estimate on future work that needs to be done. They also cleaned up some junction boxes in the basement that were not done correctly to begin with.

 + 1 moreI needed to have four ceiling fans and a can light installed. O'brien and two others arrived on time and were on-site about four or five hours. I was very pleased with the result. They took care of everything. I started with the ceiling fans and remotes in the packaging (they supplied the can light) and when they left everything was installed, balanced, and the remotes were programmed. All work was completed on time and the price was the same as the quote provided on an earlier visit.
Description of Work: I had four ceiling fans installed and a can light put in over my shower.

 + -1 moreIt went well overall. The only glitch that we had was when I left a message with them mentioning I wanted the receptacle there saying I wanted the receptacle replaced. The electrician did not get that message, but when I spoke with them about it they did end up taking care of it right away. I was happy with them overall.
Description of Work: They did some minor electrical upgrade work. They replaced a circuit breaker in a panel and replaced a receptacle inside the house.
