Kevin and his crew are awesome. I have been using Kevin's Automotive for a few years now. You will not find a more honest or reasonably priced mechanic anywhere else. He truly cares about his customers and does not gouge people of their money. An example of this... My hitch had been hit in an accident. I called a mechanic who quoted me 250.00 to look at my under carriage for damage. I called Kevin and he quoted me 50.00...I took my car to Kevin and he did a thorough inspection of my under carriage and charged me less than the original quote. He is there for the working person and understands true customer service. Before taking your car to Kevin make sure to give him a call as I know his address has changed since this posting. There are not enough good things to say about this company. Kevin even recommended a tow company that lives by his same values and standards when I needed a tow. Awesome mechanic with old time values and morals.

He responded very quickly on a Friday evening and even came out to access the situation for a house call charge $64. He was able to keep the coils cold on the freezer so we didn't lose much of our remaining food. He didn't try to make money buy suggesting we fix items that were better off being replaced; he told us honestly that we would be better off buying new appliances, and also gave us some good recommendations about replacements.

This is not the first time I've taken my car to Kevin Lowman. He is always friendly, and actually answers the phone himself. I've had him replace the water pump, the timing belt, do a tune up, flush the transmission, basic as well as intensive automotive stuff. Not only is he efficient, but he's knowledgeable and when you go to pick up your car, there are no surprises. He quotes a price and that's what he delivers. Does not do anything to your car until he discusses it with you first. I always get in within 1-2 days, and get the car back usually within 1 day ( unless there is something unforeseen that comes up and parts need to be ordered but he calls to let you know before anything is done). His pricing is fair, and I don't feel there is a huge mark up. His hourly rate is $77 per hour ( there is one other mechanic that works with him), which is comparable to other mechanics rates...even lower than some. I've referred him to my son, my neighbors and even my 80 year old mom and everyone came away satisfied with the results. It's hard to find an honest affordable mechanic, but I did.
