+ -1 moreWould highly recommend! I had an emergency and they were able to come out within the hour on a weekend. All problems were fixed and then some. If you need help with your garage door, this is the place to call! For $150 they came out, got me into my garage (remote broke and I was locked out), provided a new remote, installed a new keypad opener and programmed the new devices.

+ -1 moreDO NOT RECOMMEND After fixing the garage door for $475 it keeps popping off the track. He is not interested in replacing bent track only wants to sell a new $2000 door (how that fixes the track is beyond me.) "I showed you how to put it back in so now it would have to be a service call charge." Only problem is I can't lift the heavy door and hold it up while at the same time violently jerking the door back and forth to force it back in the track. Interestingly enough it never came off track until after he replaced the springs. Also knocked my alarm sensor loose but expected me to glue it back down to the concrete.
Description of Work: Replace broken garage door spring. Which went from $225 to $450 because I "needed" other work. Now I need someone to come out and fix his repair.

+ -1 moreIt went great! George was able to fit me into his schedule in a timely manner and fixed the problem right before we were going to get some very cold and snowy weather. I appreciate George's profoessionalism and timeliness.
Description of Work: The large spring on my garage door broke. I called George (this is the 2nd time I've used House Calls) and he was able to make it to my house pretty quickly. George is punctual, professional, kind, knowledgeable, and does an excellent job in getting the necessary work done. He replaced both of the large springs on my door as this was necessary due to the heavy wooden door and the springs currently being used were not appropriate for the heaviness of the door. He worked with me and gave me a great price and also included changing out the cables that were fraying. I will definitely call George again for any future issues with my garage door.

Upon arrival, he got right to work and efficiently replaced and tested the new opener. He also made sure that my car's Homelink was set up and working as well. I am very pleased so far with the work and would not hesitate to recommend House Calls or to use him again.

+ -1 moreHe did a great job with the install. I asked at the last minute about a key pad entry and he sold us one that worked with our opener. I had had trouble finding one that was compatable. However, I was rather frustrated with the price a few weeks later when I found the same one at Home Depot for $18, but he sold it to us for $45 saying it was about what we'd pay at a retail store. Everything else was good though.
