Hometown Glass

Hometown Glass was one of 4 companies I had bid on providing a frameless glass shower enclosure for my newly remodeled master bathroom. Upon my initial call, they were able to come to my residence within a couple of days. Once at my house, measurements were taken, options for glass panel attachment to walls were discussed and door handle preferences were obtained. Within a day after the house visit, they provided the estimate for the job, as well as a timeline for how long it would take to get the glass panels made and ready for installation.Their estimated cost estimate was lower than others, and their timeframe to install was quicker. I immediately gave the go ahead to proceed and provided the initial down payment. They the glass panels to be installed within the timeframe they provided in the estimate, however one of the panels did not line up exactly. They took numerous measurements in an attempt to determine the cause of the problem, but all their initial measurements were verified in this second measurement. They insisted that they needed to have a new panel made, as THEY would not be happy with the outcome of the job if the original panel were installed. They modified the corner that should be out of square in the second panel order, resulting in 3/16and quot; change over a number of feet span. This second panel fit perfectly, and the enclosure was installed.Approximately a week after installation, it was noted that their was a slight leakage around the lowest panel attachment to the shower pan. I called them, and they were out early the next day to reseal around the fixture. No leakage after that.Hometown Glass employees are clean, professional, very knowledgeable, prompt, and place customer satisfaction at the top of their priorities. This is a small company, so you get the same guys each time. I can only speak to their capabilities with regard to shower enclosures, but I would not hesitate to use them again, and I am pretty picky.

I am remodeling my kitchen and wanted a large mirror on one wall. Kent happens to be a relative and I wanted to see how much he would charge me, I knew he did excellent work and 90% percent of his business is from repeat customers. I got other bids from other glass companines but they were much higher priced. He did an awesome job on time and on schedule, the mirror looks great and is doing just what I wanted it to do, making my kitchen feel much larger.
