I have been moved by the government twice and that went better than this service. I thought I was contracting with a local company that turned out to be a broker. I give exact description with measurements of my household goods and the broker company lowballed the cubic footage of transport I would need. They wouldn't allow me to update my load until the day before the move so when David showed up, they had two trucks. He asked my priority items and I told him. I told him I had done my own packing but he insisted on using packing materials which he charged almost $2,000 for that were supposed to be included in the price (which put my "estimate" over by more than $1,000). When the team loaded the truck they didn't make any efficient use of space (see photo) and ended up only being able to load about 1/3 of what I needed to have moved across the country. Also, though I had said the larger furniture items like both couches and our beds had to go on this truck because I could not move them on my own. He didn't load them first and lo and behold my heaviest couch wouldn't fit. In the attached picture you can see all the empty space, he didn't put anything there just stacked stuff in front and didn't intend to fit items to the ceiling. The crew he brought were lifting my boxes sideways and shifting even breakable items so much I was certain nothing would be useable on the other end. I was more stressed than I have ever been during a move the whole time they were there. I was told I could not pay with a debit card so I had to go get cash but of course that became a challenge because I could not pull enough cash to settle the balance. So I had to get another form of payment. David said it wouldn't be a problem to store my items and they would be delivered in 10-21 days. At the end of 21 days, I still had not heard from David or his team so I called them and they said they would schedule delivery. But I didn't get a call until the day before they planned to deliver, after bank hours had closed so I had to hustle to get the balance of the funds I owed, on a Sunday-in Utah. The called me and said they weren't going to make it at the time David told me, but they would make it "sometime" the next day. Which was a work day for me so I had to call out of work. When they finally go there, the trucked seemed that it was stacked in a little better than when they were initially picked up. They kept putting things inefficiently into my storage unit so I was moving things so everything would fit. I told them I still needed to fit the one couch they did manage to get on the truck and they told me there was no couch in there. I called David and he said it was in the It took the delivery team more than 20 min to figure out how to get my piano out of the truck, when they finally got it to the ground it slipped out of the dolly (that was not suited for an item that large) and it dropped on its back on the ground. One of them looked at me and said "oh, I hope its ok." I called David again and sent him video of them dropping the piano. He said he was very sorry, but they found my couch at the warehouse and would send it as soon as they had another truck headed this way. I found out later that I was also given a tv that doesn't belong to me. I called David again to let him know, and it seems my number has been blocked. I called the brokerage company and they said they would help, but they are now not answering my calls or emails either. Trusted Moving and Storage is the brokerage, in case you are curious. I had to arrange other transportation for my remaining household goods and about $10,000 later I am ready to be done with this team. I am posting here to encourage you to not use either company for your move. I have moved a lot in my career and this, by far, has been a nightmare.

Zero stars if I could but have to leave 1. DO NOT USE H&M Relocation Services. Changed contract price and terms at pickup. 6 hours late on moving day, 5 hours late the following day to pick up remaining items. Items carelessly packed and loaded. Picked up June 10 and 11, specified 15-21 days for delivery. Refused to fill out contract properly or provide a copy. Luckily I took a picture of the contract and saved the texts from the owner. September 17th and I still do not have my belongings. Receive nothing but lies from H&M when I do get a response. Been in contact with the police and have to retrieve my items from seized storage unit when this company was served a warrant. They have multiple stories about them failing to deliver.

H M is the most HORRIBLE moving business. Dishonest. Unreliable. Unsafe. Had no DOT authority when they picked up my goods, and barely got it back! Uses Unknowledgeable day laborers. David stands around yelling at them teaching them to pack on the job. Doubled my binding estimate AFTER the fact! And demanded cash or he would sue me. But months later I received some of my belongings, in ROUGH shape, and that’s kind of me. David Z Promised me, by and through the help of FMCSA, 2000 dollars for the late delivery. Have yet to see that and I moved Feb 2021. He will answer for all his works. Vengeance is mine says the Lord.
