 + -1 moreGreat Western Roofing worked with my insurance and made sure they paid for all the damage to my home from a hail storm. They scheduled the roof replacement and gutters within a few days of each other....I can't believe they replaced my roof in one day. The gutters only took a few hours and look great. The thing o was most impressed with was the clean up...I think my yard was cleaner after they were finished than before they began. Payment was very easy as we only paid the amount our insurance gave us initially and final payment wasn't due until our insurance sent final payment which Great Western helped coordinate. I would and have referred this company to friend and family.

 + -1 moreI was very disappointed when the roof failed the 1st inspection. I was also disappointed with how long it took to complete the additional items on the contract. Finally, I was disappointed with the amount of communication.

 + -1 moreA few months later at night during one of our two heavy rainstorms late last summer, I found a small stream of water running down the wall of our master bedroom. We had a different roofing company come out to inspect our roof. They found that the tarpaper near and around our chimney (which is immediately behind the wall that had water running down it) was toast. A few thousand dollars later of new tarpaper, new flashing, silicone caulk and many new shake shingles and I feel much more secure. My parents-in-law have used this roofing company for years.
Description of Work: We requested an insurance review following a windstorm. They were one of the roofing companies recommended by State Farm.

 + -1 moreThe other thing I liked was that Great Western didn't want any money until the job was complete and the final inspection had been done by the city. I've heard a lot of horror stories about contractors, but this alleviated the little concern I had.
Description of Work: My rental property in Denver needed a new roof. I contacted three contractors to get estimates. Great Western was the only contractor who actually showed up on time. One didn't even show up at all. Greg measured the roof, put together the estimate, and showed me product samples all while he was there. His estimate was a about $300 higher than the other companies. I was so impressed with his professionalism and knowledge I went with Great Western, even though they were priced a little higher. I don't mind paying for quality! Greg constantly communicated with me and I was always in the loop. The roofing crew finished the job in one day and my renters were more than happy with the cleanup. I couldn't have been more impressed.
