They were on time and they had good follow with their work. They were very respectful about being inside my house and they were professional about cleaning up their mess.

The worker that helped us was named James and he was phenomenal. They bill by the hour. He did some little fix-it jobs for us. He also took down a large tapestry in our old house and he put it up in our new house. He has done about 23 things for us. The pricing was extremely fair. Yvonne was extremely responsive. She juggled the schedules of her workers to get us James on the days we wanted. She is very customer responsive. James did everything we asked him to do quickly and thoroughly.

I called and asked for an estimate on replacing and painting some exterior wood rot. The man who answered the phone said that they "don't do estimates." He said that they would send a man out to start the work, and the cost was $65 an hour plus materials. I asked how I was supposed to know whether to expect $200 or $2000, and he (seriously) suggested that I call a painting company and have them give me an estimate, as that would be pretty close to what his company would cost.

I called Grandma's and spoke with Grandma, explaining the problem. She suggested that I go buy a "flapper" and install it, which I could easily do. She asked me to call her back and let her know how that worked. I ran to the store and bought a flapper assembly and installed it in a few minutes. It then worked great! I'm terribly impressed that Grandma suggested how I could fix the problem myself and save a service call.

They did the job very well, and they were quick and efficient.

Hugh came out and gave me an estimate. I called 2 other folks, but neither of them were as responsive or helpful. When Hugh returned to fix the door, he was prompt, professional, and very helpful...a true gentleman! "Grandma" was also very helpful during our phone conversations as we worked out scheduling and options for how to fix the door effectively and at minimal cost. She truly seemed to have my best interests at heart. What a joy to work with folks like these!

George secured the recessed units securely into place, so that the outside recessed cover slides up into the unit properly. He had to add a short section of 2 x2 into the opening to secure the recessed unit too. Works perfectly now.

Same as above. I was delighted that she could explain to me how to get the thing working again.

James arrived exactly on time and went right to work. He was so nice... and very efficient as well. Somehow he managed to paint that 10-inch long, 2-inch high area of kitchen wall over the cabinets where the refrigerator is ... we couldn't... even after moving the refrigerator out. The blinds and the window treatments look wonderful and make a huge difference in our little condo. James will return to install the cellular shade that has now arrived from the factory for the master bedroom. We had to order it because of the top-down, bottom-up feature.

I thought they were excellent. They were prompt. The gentleman was friendly and courteous. He explained everything he needed to do and did it in a timely manner. We also received a follow up call to see how the experience was and to make sure we were happy.

It went great. Price came in even better than what we were given as an approximation over the phone. Joshua even pointed out that they had a coupon in that day's paper, so we retrieved that and got an additional $15 off! Not being a skilled craftsman myself, coupled with lack of time for many projects, we will definitely be using Grandma's Handyman service again in the future.

They were great to work with and they showed up on time. They were really good about cleaning up after themselves when they were finished. They were also very polite. I would recommend them.

We have been very pleased with them. They are very good and they came out within 24 hours. They are very, very nice to deal with.
