Grandma's Handyman Service, Inc.

It went very well. The handyman arrived on time and got started right away. I had to leave because my husband was in the hospital and I had to be there. I felt safe in leaving everything in the handyman's hands. I left him a check. When I returned that evening everything was put together, in place, and he had hauled out all the trash from getting the furniture out of the box. I would definitely use Grandma's again.

Very easy to schedule, professional and work was all done quickly and correctly. I was thrilled to have them get our to-do list done before the holidays. Will definitely use again!

Alfredo, the field tech, did a great job. Found the leak, made sure all areas were dry, showing me what he was looking for in case of mold, replaced the wax seals (three to be exact) of the toilet and then showed me what I needed to do to fix the tile. After he was done and cleaned up, he showed my five year old son, who was home from school that day, how to draw Mickey Mouse, which my son was impressed. Alfredo has done some teaching of art in his day. Another thing to consider is that Grandma's charges by the hour, so it is good if you have your ducks in a row before the tech arrives. One interesting sidenote: Grandma herself calls ahead and makes sure you know everything about the tech before he/she arrives. Name, backgrounds and what kind of person she is sending over. Very personalized service and much appreciated.

EXCELLENT. Grandma was extremely responsive when I called (and friendly) and worked with me when we had to reschedule due to inclement weather - the person doing the work arrived precisely on-time; was very professional and finished in a timely manner - he did a fantastic job and I will certainly be calling Grandma again.

Grandma's Handyman Service scheduled an appointment within a few days of our call. The service technican was right on time and did a great job installing the ceiling fans. He replaced installed the new showerheads and replaced the tub faucet with one we had purchased. The next day we discovered the tub/shower faucet wasn't working correctly. We called Grandma's, and the service technican came right out the next day and replaced the tub faucet with one he provided. It works great. Grandma's was really responsive and professional.

Mike, their concrete guy was right on time. He did the work efficiently and was done in a few hours. Unlike the company that originally installed the stoop, he took the time to reinforce the concrete with rebar so that it won't crumble again in the future. The only misstep was that he could have done a slightly better job cleaning up. Overall; however, I was quite happy with the work.

Overall, it was a professional service and nice experience. I've already had them back.

Very well. Michael Pitts was out on 3 successive days: to remove the old tile, to glue on the new tile, and then to regrout the whole backsplash and caulk. He did a beautiful job.

Chris showed up on time and looked at all the work. He said we didn't really need to replace the weatherstripping on the front door. He then estimated how long it would take and told me exactly what his plan was. He went to Home Depot and bought wood for the handrail. Everything went exactly as planned.

He came out and did the job right. He did all of the work in a timely manner and he cleaned up after himself. The thing that impressed me the most was that he took the time and energy to move the dog food bowls that were beneath the molding that he was replacing. He moved them well out of the way so that they would not get dirty and when he was finished he went back and got them so that he could put them back where he found them. He took the time to figure out how to hang the stove cover without causing any extra damage. I was impressed with their service and I will likely be using them again in the future.

MIchael did a great job. He was reasonable, fair, and friendly. As a woman, I felt very safe having him in my home to do this work.

Mike arrived on time and went right to work. He didn't stop until every branch and twig were put in trash bags. He put the bags in the garage to await my next trash pickup.

They were very honest and told me that nothing needed be done at this point. I appreciated their honesty. It was a very pleasant experience.

They did a really good job. Their estimate was right on. They were very conscious of making sure the job was done right. We would hire them again for some other things that we need to have done in the future.

They were prompt and did the work properly. The worker that came out was friendly and professional. We would hire them again if needed in the future for other work.

Grandma scheduled me the same day I called, which I appreciated as that fit my schedule. She disclosed the charges while I was on the phone with her. She also called to confirm the time of arrival and called afterwards to make sure I was satisfied. Mike also checked with me while he was working to ensure that I was happy with his proposed solution to the repair problem and again at the end to review his finished work. Mike also took some measurements for me so that he could prepare a bid for some other work I am considering having done. All in all, a very satisfactory experience!

He was polite, prompt and professional.

It was reasonable pricing. There was an extra gas charge on the bill that was not in the original estimate. I pointed that out to him and he took it off the bill no problem. Everything looks good and we're happy with it.

He actually didn't charge anything extra for the labor to replace the screen because he was there doing other work anyway, which was very nice. He was very prompt and very polite. He did not over charge, and did very satisfactory work. We would definitely work with him again.

Great! The person who did the repair met with our tenant to review what he would need ahead of time and then met the tenant at the designated time. He repaired the dispenser with a match for at a very fair price.

It was very good. I left a message and they called back immediately. He also called to let me know he was on his way, so there was a lot of communication. I work from home, so once I told him what to do he got right to work and left me with no interruptions.

It went great. From the very personable service on the phone, to the professional service that George, our plumber provided. He was able to come out within a couple days (it only leaked when you turned the faucet on...). George thoroughly explained what needed to be done and didn't flinch when he saw our spider infested crawlspace with a door the size of a porthole.
