Description of Work: I called Grandma looking to have some work done on a couple of doors. What I needed done they would have not been able to do, she spent extra time with me on the phone trying to help me find a better provider. It went well.
Description of Work: I needed a variety of household repairs completed, including replacing some ceiling lights and cementing a mailbox in place. Michael showed up as planned and performed all needed repairs with a wonderful attitude and high level of professionalism.

Description of Work: The fence repairman came out, straightened out the upright that was bent. He reconnected the fencing that had be damaged and left. This was all done in about 15 minutes. I'm very satisified with the outcome of the fix. I don't know if my neighbor is, and it was their fence that was damaged. They have not said anything negative, so I assume they are satisfied also.

We tried to call the member to inform her that his morning appointment ran over, but were unsuccessful. We did not have a phone number for her sister. There was nothing more we could do other than apologize. Most people think that a job will take less time than it actually does. No work was done
Description of Work: I contacted Grandma about having some wood shelves installed in my pantry. I sent her a picture of the shelves that are in there now. She told me it could cost upwards of $800 to build and install that type of shelving. She gave me suggestions on how I could repair the ones I have, instead of pushing a sale. Grandma's Handymen also did some work for my dad and he was very satisfied. As for the ceiling fan, I asked how much it would cost to install one and her price was a bit high. But I haven't done a lot of price comparison's so she may be right on target. I wholeheartedly recommend this contractor.

This member and I had a lovely conversation and I appreciate her kind remarks about Grandma's. After looking at the photos of the pantry, I determined that the shelving she already had was really good quality wire shelving. To remove the shelves and replace them with built in wood shelves would be a costly job. It was in her best interest to keep the shelves as is and make some adjustment to secure the ends of the shelves as they weren't installed correctly in the first place. We are committed to helping our customers save money wherever possible and often are able to instruct them on how to do a job for themselves. Many times, what looks like a simple job, in actuality is more complex than a customer imagines. Our rates are very competitive with handyman service companies of a similar size. We cannot beat the price of the individual handyman, however, we stand by our work and you will always be able to contact us. We will be here when you need us in the future. Grandma

Super Easy Peezy
Description of Work: I had neglected to clean my gutters out last fall when it should have been done. With Denver's big storms coming in the spring I didn't want to have clogged gutters. I called Grandma's, and I didn't have to do anything else but write the check which was VERY reasonable and it relieved my mind. Guess what? We haven't had a drop of moisture since then. I don't care, cuz my gutters are clean when it does come. Send rain.

Description of Work: I had a problem with barn swallows nesting and making a huge unhealthy mess on my front porch. Mike, from Grandma's came over bright and early as scheduled and installed a set of spikes manufactured specifically to keep persistent birds from nesting. Even though Mike had never seen this product before, he knew just what to do. Mike worked quickly, using his own tools and ladder. The installation is perfect. What a relief. I would definitely use Mike and Grandma's Handyman Service again!

Description of Work: Asked to fix a leak that I thought was coming from the base of a toilet. It turns out it was caused by the internal plumbing. Repaired a hole in the dry wall, sanded and painted. Even fit in another task (hanging a map) while the drywall was drying. This allowed for a single visit in stead of two
