Hi, My name is Dan Thompson and I am the owner of Floors By Tomorrow. We were incorporated back in 2013 as a result of our union as an authorized representative of Empire Today; the nations Largest flooring company. Empire Today has been around since 1959.
Last year, the flooring industry was a $1.5 Billion industry. Empire Today literally took 1/3 market share by doing over $600 Million of that business. All the other big name companies; like Home Depot, Lowes, Carpet (Mill, Exchange, Outlet, Emporium, World, etc) and the 1000 independent companies were left to fight over the other 2/3's.
Another reason, I believe, that Empire Today is the Nations Largest flooring company is their dedication to customer service, next day install, 0% financing WAC and simplicity of the appointment process, ordering & install.

Don't waste your time with this busines!! I am so disappointed in the Owner, Dan and Floors by Tomorrow. They seemed really good at first, but they are not. June 21st, Dan came over to give a quote on replacing our planking and carpet in a property we own. He quoted $2200 to do the installation only since we already have the materials purchased. He was happy to help, and didn't care that it's a small job, or that we already had materials. I asked for a written breakdown, as we were in the middle of getting some finances in order and we'd be wanting to start work soon. I wanted to have a quote so we could keep the numbers straight. Dan said he'd get it to me in a day or two, which was fine. 9 days later on July 1st, when we had our financing in order, I still didn't have a written quote or contract, so I texted and asked again. He was too busy that day to get it. No problem, I understand that. I asked again on July 5th, he texted me a picture of a hand-written quote for the job with materials, that he already knew we didn't need. I explained again that I just needed the breakdown and an official quote for the $2200. July 6th he sent me a picture of the numbers he had written down during our meeting, which I had asked for and asked if he could come see the home again, because he forgot what the numbers meant. I explained what he told me they meant that day, (Installation with no materials anticipated to be purchased) and have not been able to get a hold of Dan since then. It's been 4 days. I can see that he's been reading my emails when I politely asked for either an update or his notice that he wouldn't be able to do the job. I have heard nothing from him. So, it's taken him 10 days and I still don't have a quote, and he can't be bothered to answer my emails or text messages. I really wanted this business to be as great as he made it sound, but Dan just can't deliver. Or he doesn't like small jobs. I understand that contractors are busy in the summer, but they should at least be courteous enough to inform you when they can't or won't do the job. I'm happy to provide copies of the texts and emails to anyone who wants to know what it's like to work with Dan. My suggestion would be to save your time, because your floors won't be here "tomorrow".

The salesman, Dan Thompson, was prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable. He listened to our needs for carpeting two bedrooms and showed us samples, We ordered carpet and next day installation. The installers were a little late (I think they had trouble finding our home) moved the furniture out of the bedrooms, removed the old carpet and padding, installed the new carpet and padding, cleaned up, and moved the furniture back into the rooms all in the space of about 4 hours. They were also very nice folks.
Description of Work: Came to our home, showed carpet samples, sold us carpet and installation service.
