There was a LOT of miscommunication regarding how the blinds were going to be installed, price of blinds versus the price of the coupon from Angie's List. The owner of the business was sick during the time we worked together but I didn't know she was sick. So, there were long periods of time when I couldn't get a hold of her, but didn't know why. The blinds are installed and look very nice. However, I was not happy about the price and didn't feel like I got what I ask for. I showed her 4 windows and said I wanted a blind that was going to offer me the best deal for the coupon I had. She didn't even bother to measure one of them. I wanted estimates on all 4 windows so I could make the decision on which one to get. However, she wasn't accommodating with giving me 4 estimates and I finally got tired and just ordered a blind. It's not like I could go anywhere else since it was a coupon from Angie's List.

There was an initial mix-up with Estie's appointment. I waited an hour, leaving messages on her phone. When she got back to me she apologized and said she had me down for the next week. I was able to make that time work, and she arrived on time with several cases of samples of blinds with color swatches. She ordered the blinds and arranged for the installer to contact me when they came in. The installer, Deno Verges, arrived on time . with all the materials and hand them hung in 30 minutes. He was a pleasure to work with. The blinds fit perfectly and so far (4 hours) they have worked perfectly.

She came out and measured my windows. They came back out and it took about a half hour to install my new blinds and I am very pleased with them. And they are very professional.

It was good. There was some trouble, they forgot to place the order but it all happened and they took care of it. They're really nice people.

This was a very positive experience. It made so much difference to have someone actually come to the house and see my decor and discuss my needs, tastes and budget with me. So much better than an in-store experience. When the new blinds arrived and were installed, I loved them! I was going to have two window done, but the price was so reasonable that I had the entire upstairs done.

The blinds are great and they fit well. The installer was good and everything went fine.

Estie took measurements for a large sliding glass door in the living room & large bedroom window -- i purchased the cellular shades for both. I chose the blackout cellular shade for the bedroom. Dale came to install a few weeks ago. They look great!! The quality of the product is quite good and the installation was done well. Estie was very personable and helped me to choose the best option in addition to consideration of cost. I would definitely use her again. What a difference from the old vertical blinds and faux wood horizontal blinds.

Estie was wonderful to work with. I purchased an Angie's list discount coupon and Estie actually called me to schedule an appointment. She was prompt, courteous, professional, knowledgeable and friendly. I needed blinds installed/replaced in 4 rooms. She was easily able to provide suggestions for all the rooms, take measurements and provide an estimate in less than an hour. The time estimated for completion was accurate and the installer was also prompt, professional and did a terrific job. The blinds and colors chosen were absolutely perfect and make such a difference in the look of the rooms! The price was reasonable even without a coupon. I highly recommend this company and will not hesitate to use again!

Estie was friendly and helpful. We rescheduled our appointment at her request. I have not comparison-shopped so I cannot speak to her pricing. I expect to be contacted by an installer before the end of July.

The whole experience with Estie and Dino at Discount Windows Focus could not have gone better or more smoothly. Estie is extremely efficient, professional and affordable. What else could you ask for?! The shades look perfect... even better thanI expected... and Dino, the installer, went above and beyond in explaining everything to me. He also was great at cleaning up and organizing! I will definitely use them again.... and recommend them to everyone I know.

I am extremely happy. Work was done ahead of schedule. The coupon definitely helped with the cost - made it comparable to odering from an online blinds company - aded bonus was installation was included.

Estie the owner was both professional and personable from the very beginning. She was able to give me a cheaper quote than costco vendors and convinced me not using Hunter Douglas blinds to achieve the same result. She was also able to install the blinds two-three weeks sooner than the quote from other vendors. The guy she sent for installation was very professional and experienced. We are very happy with their service and would highly recommend her to other people.

I found Discount Window Focus through an Urban Dealight email special (similar to Groupon). The special was $35 for $110 worth of window treatments, I bought 2 specials, because that was the limit per person. The $420 was the total price I paid for the one large blind (after the $220 discount). I called on a Friday and got Estie's voicemail and was called back the following Monday. Estie (the owner of Discount Window Focus or DWF) was able to come out that week to measure and discuss what blinds I wanted in my house. She arrived on time to the appointment and made a great suggestion to what I thought I wanted! She was friendly and I felt as if I were talking to someone's sweet grandmother. Estie brought faux wood blind samples for me to see, because on the phone I had told her that's what I was thinking of getting. I thought I wanted just 2 inch and she suggested 2 and a half inch, she said they look better from the outside of the house, more like plantation shutters. (They were only $20 more!) Her installer, Ted, called me 3 weeks later to tell me my blinds were in and ready to be installed. He was able to come the following day to put them up. He arrived 25 minutes early and had to wait a few minutes for me to get home. It literally only took him 5 minutes to put the blinds up! I was shocked, and they looked super! The whole experience was superb! I will definitely use DWF again and would recommend them to my friends! The only downside was the cost, but my husband said it was worth it since they do the measuring and installation!
