+ -1 moreThey never showed. They laughed at us and told us to go elsewhere.
Description of Work: They don't deliver on promises or on carpet. I wish I'd read these reviews prior to letting my 76 year old mother put money down for carpet delivery. When no one showed an hour after the window time, we had to call them to find out why. Only then did they tell us there'd been a breakdown with ONE of their trucks so no delivery would be forthcoming. It can, of course, be rescheduled to have us sit around for another delivery that likely won't come. Forget that everything was moved and packed away or that we took the day off work to accommodate the delivery. When I talked to the a Manager, she had the audacity to talk to me like I was being unreasonable in my request for an alternate solution. The sales guy actually laughed at me and told me to go with a higher priced competitor. A deal is not a deal if there's no product. Shame on you, Carpet Exchange.

+ -1 moreWe went to Carpet Exchange on Havana to select and order 2 boxes of linoleum. We ordered linoleum planks on Saturday, May 18, 2013. It went fairly smoothly. Some 10 days later, I called to receive a status update on my order, because our contractor was set to start the work a few days later. The first of the problems started when they were not able to find my order in their computer. This was very frustrating, however I was at work and could not do anything to help them find my information. Finally someone called 3 hours later to tell me they found my order. The second problem occured when I was informed that they ordered my floor on May 29th. That means they did not order my floor until a whole 12 days after I had paid for the product!!! I finally did receive my order some 25 days after I had stepped into the store to pay for it.
Description of Work: We ordered linoleum planks for a basement bathroom renovation project. We are going to do the install.

+ -1 moreOUR SALES REPRESENTATIVE (ROSEY) WAS HELPFUL AND FRIENDLY, BUT NOT PUSHY. THE INSTALLERS WERE NOT ALWAYS TIMELY AS FAR AS WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD BE AT THE HOUSE FOR THE JOB AND WHEN THEY SHOWED UP; HOWEVER, THEY WORKED HARD AND DID A NICE JOB.
Description of Work: WE HAD OLD CARPET IN OUR KITCHEN. THEY REMOVED THE CARPET, PUT DOWN SOME NEW SUBFLOORING AND PUT IN A CONGOLEUM TILE FLOORING.

+ -1 moreWE BOUGHT THE CARPET AND PADDING FROM CARPET EXCHANGE. WE NEEDED IT INSTALLED IN TWO DIFFERENT STAGES. THE FIRST STAGE WAS THE GUEST BEDROOM. THEY MEASURED ALL THREE ROOMS AT THE SAME TIME. THEY INSTALLED THE CARPET IN THE BEDROOM FIRST AND DID A GREAT JOB. WHEN WE WERE READY FOR THE OTHER ROOMS THEY CAME RIGHT AWAY AND EVEN FIXED A PART OF THE BEDROOM WITHOUT QUESTION.
Description of Work: WE FINISHED OUR BASEMENT AND BOUGHT THE CARPET FROM CARPET EXCHANGE AND HAD IT INSTALLED IN THREE ROOMS.

+ -1 moreI BOUGHT MY CARPET FROM CARPET EXCHANGE. THEY GAVE ME A DISCOUNT BECAUSE MY DAUGHTER WAS ALSO BUYING CARPET. THEY INSTALLED CARPET ON THE FIRST FLOOR, ALONG WITH LINOLEUM IN MY BATHROOM AND PERGO IN MY KITCHEN. THE INSTALLERS WERE VERY NICE ALTHOUGH I HAD A HARD TIME COMMUNICATING WITH THE ONE GROUP THAT SPOKE ONLY SPANISH.
Description of Work: I BOUGHT CARPET FOR MY FIRST FLOOR IN MY TOWNHOME FROM CARPET EXCHANGE. I ALSO HAD THEM INSTALL IT.
