RBM/Royal Bengal Mechanical/At Parker installed the furnace and associated equpment in my home prior to when I purchased it in the summer of 2013. Days after moving in, the fan failed, which stopped the airconditioner from working. Taufiq came out and replaced the motor. The job was done quickly and the furnace/AC was restored to service. However, I was not satisfied with the work for a few reasons: 1) The furnace is relatively new yet the motor showed rust on it. Taufiq made no attempt to diagnose why the motor failed, especially the rust on it which was likely the cause due to water leaks. Most likely, the cause of the problem still exists. 2) The price I was charged for the new motor, $900, was $300 more than the motor could be bought online, or 150% more than the online parts supply. This is a serious overcharge. 3) No attempt was made to determine if the motor was under warrantee. 4) APS/RBM tags were all over the heating/airconditioning system yet it was suffering from countless examples of bad installation work, including mounting an in-duct humidistat on the outside of the duct, wiring the air cleaner to be on 100% of the time so it burned out, and wiring the humidifier to be on 100% of the time so it burned out. I can't be sure this was APS/RBM's doing, but they must have seen it when they installed the furnace initially.
