Amp Electric

I was very pleased with the professionalism, punctuality, and price.

It took 2 or 3 days for them to come out, but the wait was worth it. They diagnosed the problem quickly and discovered a worn wire in a light fixture. They got the correct wire and repaired the fixture. They quickly located the wiring connection issue on the patio light switch and corrected the problem.

Lee and his crew did an amazing job and went the extra mile on our home. We had been putting off some safety issues and repair work for way too long as I was expecting a huge bill to perform all of the work. Lee came to our home for a complimentary estimate and he took his time to investigate all of the issues and to educate us. It turns out that the squirrel damage was not as extensive as we had feared and he provided photographs to show us the trouble spots. The next day we had a quote emailed to us and it was very reasonable. Lee and crew did an amazing job on the house. Not only did they repair the attic wiring, but while they were replacing all of our old outlets and switches (more than 40!), they fixed some wiring issues that were driving us crazy (having to turn on one switch upstairs to turn on a light downstairs). They went the extra mile and also helped fix an old kitchen light fixture that was bugging out and didn't charge us a cent for the extra work. We are definitely bringing Amp Electric back out to replace some light fixtures in the near future. I recommend Amp electric for any job big or small.

The guys who came out, especially Sam, were very punctual and professional. We had major rewiring projects and Amp was up to the task. When one of the guys slipped in the attic and did some ceiling damage, Amp promptly and professionally repaired the damage (in fact, they were the ones who brought it to our attention). We have had numerous contractors in the house and have been the most impressed with the Amp team. I know that the work done was worth more then the quote was for (turns out we have interior insulated walls, and the wiring in parts of the house were a nightmare to figure out)....but Amp honored their quote. If I have anything electrical in the future, I would call them first.

Sam explained what happened and wrote notes for me so I could explain the problem to the appliance repair technician. He then checked my circuit breaker which was good. I could not be more happy with the entire experience. I will continue to use AMP electric in the future.

Sam rang my doorbell less than 45 minutes later , fixed not only the garbage disposal issue but fixed the light switch in the powder room put three dimmer switches in in less than an hour . by some miracle the stove ignited this morning maybe we have a stove ghost in our house I don't know ! I will DEFINATELY use them for ALL of our electrical needs!!! A+++++++

Lee was AWESOME! He was timely, was responsible about his services, was trusting and friendly, and was as knowledgeable as a veteran electrician. It is hard to find services I can actually trust in my area, and I am extremely grateful that Lee is as honest and hard working as he is.

It went very well. They were on time, neat, clean and everything works.

We called Lee about a small electrical problem and he gave us an estimate over the phone. We are quite a distance from his business, but his travel fee in his estimate were very reasonable for a licensed electrician. After we scheduled an appointment we realized that we had a previous obligation and needed to reschedule. Lee was very accommodating and was very punctual and professional when he arrived. We would definitely use him again.

Contacted Lee via Angie's list. Sam came over and fixed 5 3way switches. Very professional and knowledgeable. I am very pleased that I contacted them. You don't see honest people like this anymore, I would highly recommend them.

I contacted Lee on the 31st of January about re-locating a light switch for us. He came out that same day to give me a quote on the job. I agreed to hire him and he came out on Monday the 2nd. He was right on time and was here for about an hour. He was willing to listen to our ideas on where we wanted the switch moved to, and was able to relocate the switch exactly where we wanted it. He even cleaned up after himself! We had a great conversation while he worked! I would hire Lee again to do any electrical work that needed to be done.

I run a daycare from my home, and was feeling a little frantic this morning knowing a cold front was moving in fast and we had no heat. Our furnace had been acting up for a couple of months, turning off for seemingly no reason, and 4 previous repairmen had not been able to locate the problem. We finally determined it was electrical, and so I started calling electricians off of Angie's List. I'm SO happy to have found Amp Electric and was so pleased with how professional and courteous Lee Morrison was, and most off all, that he was able to identify the problem and FIX it! The snow is now falling outside, but we have heat! Amp Electric is a small company, and Lee and his wife form the business team. She runs the office and he does the electrical work. He told me today that he has been an electrician for over 25 years, and he definitely knows his way around wires! A previous Angie's List Member had mentioned one price in their review, so I was talking to Lee about what his price schedule looked like now, and it's gone up a bit from when the other customer submitted their review, but it's still very affordable and worth it for a job well done. We will for sure use Amp Electric for any future electrical needs we may have. I can't thank them enough for being so professional and for fixing the problem! He even left us with a cool Outlet Tester so that we can troubleshoot our circuit breakers if needed. Wow! Lee truly went above and beyone. I highly recommend Amp Electric! You will not be disappointed!

I needed an electrician to clean up some lingering issues as reported on my initial home purchase inspection, such as conduit, bad outlets, etc. I gave Lee a call since he was close and had an "A" on Angie's list. I'm glad I did. His rates ($85 hr) are very reasonable and he did not charge a fortune for materials. Also since I was in his area, I was not charged a trip fee. I can tell Lee is very experienced, very thorough, and explanatory in his work. For what he did in 90 minutes, I just could not believe that the final price was so affordable. Not only would I use Amp again for anything electrical that comes up in my house, but I'll gladly refer him to my homeowner friends as well.

Lee was great. Very responsible & thorough. 15 min. after he left from installing my dining room fixture, I decided the fixture wasn't the right one and he came back in a few days, at no charge, to install a different fixture. Will definitely use Lee whenever I need electrical work.
