Altura Environmental Services did an excellent job of removing asbestos from my old furnace prior to a new installation. They were fast, efficient, and honest, and they did the work at a reasonable price. I would hire them again.

It went very well. Altura E are very competent and very easy to work with. They did an excellent job.

I was especially impressed with the team at Altura. Manny did an excellent job at defining scope and setting expectations upfront. They were very professional and went the extra mile to ensure the project went well logistically. The project was managed with excellence and communication. Even when there a small amount of accidental damage, Altura, made sure to make it right. This was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had with a contractor and would highly recommend them to anyone.

There is nothing more unnerving than having problems in the place you call home. Terrifying!! As I looked for help with our mold problem, every contractor who came and went left me more and more discouraged. Until Manny from Altura came out. He was very knowledgeable, and even more importantly, he was understanding and compassionate. You could not possibly do better than Altura and Manny and friends!!!! The very best!!

We needed to get drywall asbestos abated due to flooding in our basement. Manny and Jimmy were communicative, knowledgeable, and professional as we discussed several options for abatement. The completed the work quickly and did a very good job. Would recommend.

Manny and company at Altura did a great job of remediating my Asbestos in the ceilings of a new home purchase (new to me, was built in the 70's...). We knew right away we wanted to get rid of the popcorn ceilings. Manny gave us a quote, some start dates, and took care of handling all the permits and asbestos checks and everything for us. He even checked under the sub-floor since we were planning to replace the carpet, and he discovered there was a lot of overspray of the asbestos ceiling texture on the bare subfloor. So we pulled everything up and remediated that as well. Through the whole project Manny sent me pictures and stayed in touch with the progress, as we had him do all the work before we "moved in" to the house. It all worked out and we came out the other end without asbestos ceilings/floors in our bedrooms, and while it'd have been nice if there wasn't asbestos in the house at all, given our situation Manny helped us make the best of it. I checked with a few other Asbestos remediation companies and Altura was also one of the more reasonably priced, so IMO, you can't do better than going with this group on your asbestos remediation project. No complaints!
