We have been in business for over 27 years and are Nastec and NATE certified. We do over 20,000 service calls per year and about 50% of those are from repeat and referral business. A couple of reasons for that are: we GET OUT the SAME DAY and we have our own training facility where our techs are kept up to date on all the industry changes and not necessarily on your equipment. We are master plumbers, master electricians, and an HVAC company so if you have any needs in these areas let us know.
I called Action Appliance on the recommendation of a friend. The oven in my 60 year old Kenmore range was not getting gas. I had been told by another company that the range could not be repaired but was reluctant to part with my old stove. The repairman (sorry, can't remember his name) came out the same day and got my pilot light lit again so I could use the oven. He is currently looking for parts to fix it on a more permanent basis. I would definitely recommend this company

Very unprofessional all the way around - especially the ladies in the office who answer the phones, as well as, Kimball the owner who doesn't return phone calls at all.

They were completely incompetent. It has been over 3 weeks and our ovens still are not fixed. They do not show up within service windows. They do not have skills in the appliance brands that they claim to. We have spent $900 and our ovens are more broken now that they were when we originally called them. Check out Yelp, Better Business Bureau and google reviews before engaging with this company. Do not recommend. Steer clear.

Our Bosch oven would not bake. We called Action and they sent a service tech the same day. The tech, Kevin, was great! Polite, knowledgeable and efficient! They couldn't get the replacement part right away, but whatever. We would definitely use Action again!

Description of complaint: Action Appliance Charged a non refundable $129.00 to diagnose our appliance (LG fridge) problem which was explained clear and acceptable. Once if/we agree to the problem being fixed the $129.00 would be applied to the total cost. Friday Evening Technician 16 arrived as planned and took 5 minutes to understand that the compressor failed. He was clear on total price, and said that he could come out Monday morning to fix everything (as the compressor was in stalk) as they do not work on the weekends. Total to be charged was verbally stated $1450.00. He instructed my wife that we could pay half now or all later. My wife paid in full. She then was provide no opportunity to review any documents, signed blindly out of trust in a mobile device. Not documentation was sent to use until Monday after requesting it several times. Saturday morning we decided to purchase a new fridge and cancel the appliance service (less than 12 hours later) only to find out there is a 25% cancelation fee of the total cost. Which was never explained, not parts had to be ordered. No business was ever lost. The representative I spoke to on Saturday said the manager would call me to discuss this poor business proactive. two day later Monday evening at 9PM a "manager" at action Appliance called and told me they would not have the 25% cancelation as it was my wife's responsibility to read the contract that she signed. We never received a contract, never received an emailed receipt, never was provided an opportunity to read anything on the provided tablet. Just so everyone is clear, the "Manager" at Action Appliance doesn't provide similar training and word tracks to her "employees" she cannot control what they say or don't say. technical was clear about every part of the process including what we are the be charged except the 25% cancelation? Also, lack of documentation (me having to ask for a contract several times only to received it 4 days later) Account/Order/Tracking number: 290687 Money paid to business: 1450.00 Desired settlement: Refund

For starters you should know that they have an F rating with the BBB Do Not Use!!! Major scammer. The tech came out and gave me a written bid. he came back out the next week with the parts. Went to fix it and said he had ordered the wrong part and had to charge me another 200.00. I called the owner and was told too bad and he started yelling at me that I needed to pay and he was going to charge me for every minute that his tech was waiting for the money. He said his name was john and he threatened me that I need to make a choice to pay him or he would sue me. He was cussing and yelling and I had him on speaker and others heard him so I finally hung up on him. I did pay the tech for what he did and he was apologizing for the owners behavior. I had to tell him that if I receive future calls I will consider it harassment . The owner is a terrible person and is a terrible business man that has no idea or right to own and run a business. I should have looked at more reviews since it seems that this is a very frequent practice to rip people off

We were trying to get a burner on our stove fixed. They tested and diagnosed an issue quickly, and replaced the part, but unfortunately that didn’t solve the issue. They ended up replacing several parts, none of which ended up solving the issue and we had to eventually replace the stove. The pros: they were always friendly and punctual and transparent about pricing, and they covered the cost of all the follow-up parts and visits since their initial diagnosis and replacement part didn’t fix the issue. The cons: we had a different technician show up almost every time, most were great but one guy seemed to have no idea what they were doing. They didn’t have most of the parts on hand so every time a solution didn’t work, we had to wait another 3-5 business days for the next part to come in. And obviously the issue was never fixed and we ended up replacing the whole stove.

Allen came out to check a leak from the refrigerator filter. He found the problem and had it fixed and checked quickly. We had it checked under warranty previously and that company was unable to fix it and suggested replacing a $700 part that was not covered by the warranty. He even showed me how to dismantle a shelf that had spills under the rim so I could clean it. All for the price of the service call. I have his card in case of any other appliance problems. He would be the man to call.

Made a appointment for a dryer repair. The repair guy was OUTSTANDING, polite, clean... Here is the downhill part. The only repair I needed on my dryer was the heating element. They waved the $125 appointment and dionostic charge if they did the repair. Now I can understand a bit of a increase in parts and labor to make some money- but this amount was beyond belief... The repair guy came back and told me it would be over $400- I was like what the hell. I told him how- he said his boss told him that is what to charge for the job... A $53 part was marked up to over $275, Labor time was about 180 , tax and I am not sure what else.... Madness- I paid the $125 for the dionostic and it was done. I called Action to speak to the lady again about the price increase and how unhappy I was that it went like this. This time she was rude, smart *** and unprofessional....... So today- I went to Appliances Factory and got the exact part they had for $58 dollars. Took off the back, put it in and that was at.... This company has got to be a bigger scam artist then our school systems are. I also need to mention- I contacted 2 different companies and got a cost of right around $200 for everything... I will be posting complaints on a daily basis to make sure folks know about this rip off of a company... Please do not hire Action Appliances in Aurora Co. I do not recommend them to anyone...SENIORS BEWARE OF THIS ONE!!!!!!!

My washing machine was fixed and had a 3 months guarantee . 3 weeks after the guarantee expired, the same problem happened again. The owner of Action Appliances refused to even look at the washing machine without charging me a $90 fee. That seemed completely unreasonable to me. This company is impossible to deal with. Look elsewhere if you need help with you appliance.

These people are awful. We are on day 3 of repairing my refrigerator with an unknown end date sometime next week. They have said they could not work because they called me at a wrong number and I did not answer. They have ordered an expensive part and sent a guy out to install it only to find out it is a wrong part and reorder it again with a due date of next week. If I want to cancel this job for their failure to do anything that they have said they would do they tell me I will keep $100 plus a $25 cancellation fee from the deposit I paid them for the job. Do not give these people your money or work.

Action Electric used deceptive and dishonest practices to avoided to giving clear answered that help homeowners to make a decision. Action Electric quoted me 1050 dollars for my repair which I refused. The next day I had the repair done by another company for 79 dollars and 1 year guarantee on the job.

I tried to give this company a second chance after a very shady experience with them last time? technician dropped a bone in my disposal and told me I needed a new one. This time I hired them to clean the lines in our washer. I?m sure they did, that?s fine, but it started leaking the next day which it was not doing before. I called and they sent out another technician who looked at it, didn?t pull it apart and diagnosed it to be a cracked housing for the drain pump. He said they couldn?t get the part so I should just buy a new washer. I called another company and they said that was basically impossible, but he would order a new pump which comes with a housing. Fast forward three days when the pump arrives. The new company came out and took apart the washer? No crack in anything. The leak was coming from a hose they did not reattach one of the hoses which if the second technician would have looked for we would have been all square. I called and explained the situation to them and they said ?what do you want me to do about it?? I said I would like a refund for what I had to pay the second company to fix their mistake. They said I paid to have the lines cleaned and that?s what they did. I told them I would dispute the charges in that case and his response was go ahead and I will sue you for fraud. Angi should be embarrassed to do business with Action. Ask around and read the reviews. This company is notorious for fraudulent diagnoses and just bad business.

They came out to fix my ice maker. They quoted me $500. Whatever they did they did not fix anything. They came out again and now said I needed a new panel for another $850.00. At this point the refrigerator quit cooling. They must have done something while hanging the panel. They came out again and now want more money to fix the fans motor. The fridge was working fine prior to them repairing it except that the ice maker did not work. I ended up having to buy a new fridge on top of the money spent to repair it. The repairmen does not seem to really know what they are redoing. One even had to barrow tools. Dont do you. They are shady and keep finding, or creating, more problems
