We have been in business for over 27 years and are Nastec and NATE certified. We do over 20,000 service calls per year and about 50% of those are from repeat and referral business. A couple of reasons for that are: we GET OUT the SAME DAY and we have our own training facility where our techs are kept up to date on all the industry changes and not necessarily on your equipment. We are master plumbers, master electricians, and an HVAC company so if you have any needs in these areas let us know.

They are overpriced and unprofessional. Gave me the run around and did not show up when they were supposed to. Customer Service is rude and does not care about your time. Tech broke my stove. It worked before and only needed a gas valve and now it does not work at all. When the tech came out I realized he was not experience. I called and told them I was uncomfortable and the person who answered was rude to me and said if I was not was breathing over his neck maybe he could feel comfortable and get the job done. I was correct. He said he did not have the right tool to put the ignitor back on. I was not sure how he got it off if he did not have the right tool. I called last night and told them I wanted my money back and wanted stove back in working condition and the person that answered said she was not aware of the situation and she had to talk to the tech but told me everything about what happened. I was told the issue had to be assessed. They said they will send someone out today. Terrible company, they will lie to you, they put all the blame on you. They ordered the part that was needed, that was physically matched to the part on my stove and now are saying it is the wrong part and it is not their fault.

Ed was a terrific service person. He was prompt. He explained what he was going to do, how much it would cost. He did the repair quickly, tested thoroughly. It was been working great since. In addition, he asked (and who does this?) "Any other appliances I could help with?" And then he fixed my refrigerator door in 10 minutes and gave me some advice on my aging dishwasher. Not only an effective repair person, an amazing human too. We need more like Ed.

We were connected with Action Appliance through Angie's List, seeking a refrigerator repair. A technician came out the same day, diagnosed the problem, ordered the parts, and left. That's when the waiting game began! The parts arrived within 6 days (or so we were told). Action cancelled return appointments on 3 occasions, each time at the last minute. Meanwhile, we spent time at home waiting for them to show up, and were without our refrigerator for nearly 3 weeks. When the technician came, he seemed unsure how to make the repairs and had to call back to the shop (?) for advice. After completing the work, the technician said he "thought the refrigerator was working", but again seemed unsure. We told him we would not make final payment until the next day, when we were confident the refrigerator was actually working. (NOTE: Final payment was made promptly the next morning, as we promised). Shortly after the technician left, we received a call from a person claiming to be an attorney for Action Appliance, threatening legal action. We explained our lack of confidence in Action's reliability and failure to keep committed appointments. After another call, Action eventually agreed to accept the payment the next day. We have used Angie's List on two prior occasions and have always been connected with reliable professionals. WE WOULD NOT USE, NOR RECOMMEND ACTION APPLIANCE FOR ANY FUTURE WORK.

Started out fine with immediate contact, friendly, etc. When I provided information I knew the cause of the issue from simple google search. However, was told it was a different issue. I defereed to the experts and paid for repair. Then tech showed up 5 hours late and guess what not the right issue. Turns out the google was right but now I pay for a part and service not needed. Worse no apology just this will now be another more moneyandanothet week or two. So since I'm already infor almost the cost of a new appliance I am stuck with more charges. Intheend paid morw than a new appliance so hope it lasts

I called Action Appliance for a refrigerator repair. They scheduled the same day. The technician who diagnosed the problem was thorough. A part was needed to complete the repair. It was ordered and arrived on schedule. A second technician actually did the repair. After he left, I discovered a small problem with my freezer which was a result of the repair process. The technician returned quickly and fixed the issue. Very satisfied with my experience.

BEWARE: there is a reason this company has an F rating with the BBB! They responded very quickly to an online request and showed up the next day to assess my washing machine. The repairman seemed knowledgeable and immediately told me that the drain pump needed to be replaced on my 2-year-old unit, but the part was on factory backorder. I spent WEEKS fighting with the manufacturer and locating the part. When the manufacturer sent their repair person under an extended warranty, it was immediately clear that the drain pump was working and he found an obstruction when he actually opened up the machine. Action Appliance clearly did NOT perform any diagnostic before claiming that the part was bad. I would NEVER have known that they were scamming me if it was not for the factory backorder of the part. People are satisfied with this company are probably UNAWARE that they are being lied to. My experience is consistent with the BBB complaints.

This company never showed up. We were promised arrival between 9AM and 1PM. After calling several times we were told they're running late and that we were still on "the schedule". No ever showed. So we used Thumbtack instead at had a tech here in one hour! Action Appliance has poor BBB scores. You should reconsider keeping them in your network.
