About us

We have been in business for over 27 years and are Nastec and NATE certified. We do over 20,000 service calls per year and about 50% of those are from repeat and referral business. A couple of reasons for that are: we GET OUT the SAME DAY and we have our own training facility where our techs are kept up to date on all the industry changes and not necessarily on your equipment. We are master plumbers, master electricians, and an HVAC company so if you have any needs in these areas let us know.

Hired for dryer duct cleaning. Tech was very professional, asked him a specific question about the impact of the lint on my dryer components, he said he did not know the answer and suggested I call the office. I did, and the receptionist (understandably) did not know the answer and said they could schedule another tech to come out to answer my question for $50 but the company could not let me ask the question over the phone (despite that I hired them already for this service). I asked for the manager, who confirmed what the receptionist told me (although she did give me a somewhat more helpful opinion on my question). Job well done by the tech that came to my house and the central office employees were polite on the phone, but I would/will look to a company next time who better understands the customer courtesy linkage to their value. A paying customer who asks a question related to their project should not have to pay more for a technically qualified opinion. Note that I did not expect an appliance issue diagnosis by phone.

Do NOT use Action Appliance. We have been patiently waiting 8 weeks to get our ice maker to work. The repair men have been great but the call center to schedule spots is horrible. They have called to cancel/reschedule our repair 4 times. They collected our payment and we STILL don?t have a completed repair. I would not recommend using this company.

Beware of the positive reviews, go to BBB and look at all of their unresolved claims. They are super shady and still owe me a refund after 3 months. I am sure I will never see my money. I have had to go so far as to file a complaint with the Attorney General!

Action Appliance told me that they **could not guarantee a time window**, but scheduled me from 10-2. I had to make multiple phone calls before ANYONE told me that they were behind. When I called around 1:45, the lady I spoke to basically said that they knew my technician was going to be late but **forgot** to call me. She quoted me another time of 4 pm, which no one called to tell me he was not going to be there. The technician showed up at about 8:15 pm, which is 6+ hours late. They refused to refund me when I called to cancel after waiting an extra couple of hours with no information from them. They told me they **could not issue any refunds** and I had to ask multiple times to even get the receipt from when my card was charged. The technician was really nice, if the rest of the office had as good of customer service as the technician, I would probably go back. Since they do not, I will NEVER use this company EVER AGAIN and I will NEVER recommend them.

Customer service is slow and not caring about the customers. Scheduler claims to have no ability to reach technicians! Keep claiming "misunderstanding" when you are not satisfied instead of trying to serve the customer and get things done. Paid up front for parts that did not solve the problem and even after six visits the problem still present. Very costly! Technicians have been nice but not knowledgeable. Sit around waiting for technicians that do not come and then are told they had you scheduled a different day. Cynthia should be fired!

I don't know what other HVAC companies charge, but they answered very promptly and were out the next day. I probably could shop around but I wanted fast service. They have now set me up on a service plan that is comparable in price to other companies

Came out late, with no call. Had taken the broken part off for them, and I had purchased the new part for them. 15 minutes and two screws later, the cost was $160.00. Really? two pieces of plastic that they did not have to take anything apart, just screw on the new piece? tried to talk to the manager but the call manager hung up on me. I could have refused service -- hmmm. after waiting all weekend and then all day and did not want to argue with the worker -- thought it was more appropriate to speak to the owner or manager. Good luck if you are stupid enough to go with them.

The secretary laughed at me and was very condescending. I was charged nearly $650.00 for less than 30 minutes. I was told I needed a new air conditioner. One employee told me I didn t need an air conditioner and the other employee said that I did need a new air conditioner. The first employee told me if I needed a new air conditioner it would cost me $11,000.00 and the second one said $4,500. My wife and I are both unemployed and felt we were given misinformation to pressure us to buy an air conditioning unit that we do not need currently.

Very knowledgeable repair man. I would hire them again. However they canceled on me twice and then showed up outside of hours I told them I'd be home on the 3rd attempt. They said I'd get a discount as result but they did not.

They came out several times still didnâ t fix the problem. Came out the last time told me that it would cost over $800 to fix it and the tech did the very minimum to get me by. I said it wasnâ t worth it I could buy a scratched and dent one for about the same amount. Somehow without knowing it the last text fixed what the first tech couldnâ t fix. Good news is the refrigerator is still working. The first tech didnâ t seem to know what he was doing.

All he needed to do was to fix it, but he said I needed this new part which it did not need. Then the ac would not shut off so he had to come back out. Had to miss 2 days of work because he did not come when he was supposed to. Then he said I needed a new thermostat even though the one on there was a high-end wifi thermostat that was only a little over a year old. So I replaced the thermostat and still did not work. The ac is now.worse off than before they came out. Oh, and they are not cheap by any means. No, I would not recommend action appliances for repairs on any appliances or equipment.
