Justavion, the tech, did a great job but, I also had to deal with John in the office. I have never been so rudely treated in my life. John was a complete jerk when I had to talk to him about a concern. He had no interest in my needs, yelled over the phone, totally embarrassed Justavion, who heard the conversation and apologized to me, tried to make Justavion only replace the fridge compressor and do no more, which could have resulted in more money for the company, while I had paid for a trip charge and "an evaluation" of my refrigerator. Thankfully, Justavion did the evaluation after we talked a bit. I will NEVER call Action Appliance to come to my home again. If I was John's boss and heard a recording of our conversation, I would have fired John immediately.

work quality and value is unknown. did not use company said they could work on day I called. agreed to terms spent rest of day waiting on service. called the company at last hour of service window they said the service man might be able to get there about 6 maybe seems like they overbooked the work for the day expecting customer to accept delay and wait another day for service when they could get there. cancelled service call will find another company and hope they can deliver what they say when they say.

Brandon did an amazing job. They called me and got someone out right away in the morning. They fixed my washer machine and it is working great.

Very helpful and the tech Robert gave me great information about my maytag washer. I will call them in the future for appliances repair.

Very good job, but price was far higher than Angi showed on their website. I would suggest getting price clarified up front and seeking multiple bidders; but they were the only ones to call back.

I need to get my money back, the amount of $275. I had to pay another contractor to fix my appliance I don't think this is too disrespectful as a customer to request. Their senior technician confirmed they caused the damage but they wanted me to pay $500 just in labor to fix the issue they caused. There is nothing respectful about this company and I would not recommend them to anybody.

Good: They reached out promptly and had a technician at my house within a few hours even though it wasn't an emergency. Dion did great work. Bad: I am flabbergasted by the cost of the repair and the sneaky sales tactics they employed. Angi gave me a high-end quote of $275 for this repair, plus the costs of parts. A dryer heating element is at most $50. So, $325 total. Action quoted me $475 totalâ ¦AFTER the technician arrived. This is their standard, non-negotiable rate for this repair, yet they refused to disclose this upfront when I asked for a rough cost estimate. I was told that only the technician could determine the cost, which was a lie. Had they disclosed this price upfront, I would never have scheduled the appointment and agreed to pay their â waivableâ $95 diagnostic fee. I should have known better than to ignore this giant red flag. I am the most cynical person I know, but I never expected such a shamelessly brazen markup. I certainly never expected it from a company listed on Angi, a website that prides itself on transparency and helping homeowners avoid duplicitous business practices commonly employed by some contractors. Action refused to budge even after I pointed out their enormous markup over the Angi Cost Guide. I have still yet to receive Action's itemized email invoice. In the end, I opted to proceed with Action because the $95 fee is waived if you have them perform their overpriced repairs. Iâ d been leveraged by the sunk cost of the $95 fee, which makes any savings with a different contractor almost a moot point. Touché, Action. I decided to spend the additional $55 to get the job done today, but itâ s hard to remove the stench of being coerced into paying a nearly 50% markup. I have only myself to blame for all of this. This is my first time dealing with an appliance repair, so I should have done more research and not placed so much of my faith in Angi given there are multiple similar complaints about this company elsewhere online. Lesson learned. Buyer beware.

Took 4 visits to repair dishwasher but they finally got it done. Jose was pleasant & did a great job!

Save your money. This company charges $95 just to come out and see what the issue is. They say that that will apply towards your bill if you go with them, what they do not say is that they overcharge astronomically. I knew the issue and the cost of the part needed. What they charged for under one hour of the 1st visit (diagnosis) and the 2nd visit (labor) was 5x more and actually half the cost of replacing the unit itself. I asked to talk to a manager and she had no empathy. She told me that their quote for labor and prices was fair. I asked to see an itemized list showing what she charged and she said they do not have to share it. Every response was that I chose to continue with the service and did not have to. Clearly they want that profit more than customers that continue to call them. Save your money.

Make sure you watch the technicians while they work- made a mess, and ate my tenant's food. Spoke to the manager, all was denied. Said my tenants should have said something before they left. Manger chose to speak over me and not listen. disappointing have been using them for years. Very unprofessional. 2/7 a week later, the dryer is not working, NOW it needs an additional $600 parts. after spending $500+ on a cleaning of lint I have taken apart the dryer, and the electrical area clearly was not cleaned and it is fused with lint.

Where do I start? This is place is an absolute disaster. Charged me for dryer parts that did not fix the dryer. No shows. Caused more damage to my dryer supposedly necessitating addition parts needed. Many pleas via phone for assistance. Jackson condescendingly lectured me on high school science with regard to how pulleys and belts work (mind you, I have masters degree in engineering). Judy threatened to see me in court. Supposed main guy, John, refused to respond to emails. Now more than 3 weeks with inoperable dryer. DO NOT GET INVOLVED WITH THIS PLACE AT ALL!!
