We have been in business for over 27 years and are Nastec and NATE certified. We do over 20,000 service calls per year and about 50% of those are from repeat and referral business. A couple of reasons for that are: we GET OUT the SAME DAY and we have our own training facility where our techs are kept up to date on all the industry changes and not necessarily on your equipment. We are master plumbers, master electricians, and an HVAC company so if you have any needs in these areas let us know.
The technicians were timely, professional and provided excellent customer service. They took the time to explain why I needed the repair and gave me tips on how to take care of the washer.

Action Appliance installed a $100 stove element part, took less than 20 minutes to repair, and charged us over $600 for the job. I called their office to complain and was told That is what we charge. I called twice to speak to the owner or manager, was told they would call me back, and no one returned my call. No explanation at all. I will never call these liars again. I hope anyone who reads this takes note and avoids this organization. Action Appliance has no integrity, price-gouges hard-working people, and is only in business for the quick buck. Horrible experience. I hope 5000 people see this post and use another company.

They charged me 200$ to hook up a single wire in my HVAC system that took them a total of 10 minutes to install. I already had the thermostat basically installed, and they still charged me for the entire installation.

The repair technician actually showed up early, which was a good thing. He explained what he found, what repair was needed, and the cost. Unfortunately, the part had to be ordered, which is why I didn't give 5 stars. But, the part and the repair technician were back out on the day and time they indicated.

The company said there would be a $55 service call fee that includes a diagnosis of the furnace. The service would be applied to any repair. Upon arrival, the technician took the cover off of the furnace and attached a jump wire to bypass the thermostat and the furnace came on and worked properly. Conclusion: Dead batteries in the thermostat. Batteries were replaced and everything worked. I was charged a repair of the furnace of $178. I said there was no repair but just the diagnostic service that was included in the service call fee. The technician said the furnace did not work when he arrived and it did when he left, so, therefore, he did a repair. When I called the company to complain, the manager said, you already paid the bill, so I am not willing to do anything about it.

Very friendly and nice. We did not end up hiring them for the full job, but they came in to assess our issue, diagnosed it quickly, and gave us a few options to fix it. Ultimately we found out the fix was relatively simple and cheap, and their quote was significantly higher than us doing it ourselves. So we opted to do it on our own.

Stay away from this company. They told me I needed $1,000 in parts for the air conditioner but could not *guarantee* that would fix the problem and that I would probably have to buy a new unit for $6,000. Had another company come out and charged me $300 to fix my existing unit. Do not believe the 5-star ratings.

I wanted them to be good, and they have every opportunity. I had them out to diagnose and fix a refrigerator on the blink. I asked for a heads up phone call as I do not live at the property. They did not call. I would not have mentioned that but it appears to be systemic. I met with the tech who had done the diagnosis and he was super friendly. He quoted me a fairly steep price and I waffled on whether to do that or buy a new fridge as they are about the same price. He convinced me that fixing would be better because of the size of the opening and the difficulty I would have finding a replacement. I took him at his word and authorized the fix. About an hour later, after measuring and determining that it is an extremely common size, I called back to cancel the repair. They would not do so without charging a 25% cancellation fee. At that point, I am stuck. I spoke with Amy the manager and they had ways of reducing the price to avoid the cancellation (by 5%) and they would pay another 5% if I was willing to write a positive online review. I went forward with the repair that will be happening this week but assured her I could not take a discount to write a positive review. They gave me totally false information. Amy said it was the techs opinion I would argue that a techs opinion should be an educated one and that anyone in the industry should know the standard sizes if they are going to render an opinion like that. Had we been in the apartment, it would have been easy for me to refute it. And I thought by calling back same day (where they could simply make one phone call to cancel the part order since they did not have the part in the first place) it would have been a no-brainer to keep a customer by offering a refund and simply charging for the diagnosis. But that did not happen. Amy was not able to provide customer service that one would expect. So sad.

The communication is horrible, our time frame was 10-2 and our pro showed up at 6. I called the office twice and no one could contact the repairman for an update on arrival time, I heard he is running behind but no one had a clue as to how behind. So frustrating to waste a day away. Service tech was nice but I would not recommend this company.

Jamie did a wonderful job! He did maintenance on my washer and dryer, put in a new control center on my dryer, hooked up the dryer vent under the dryer and also added the hose for the dryer for steam drying that was not installed when I bought my machines. He was fast and cleaned up the area.
